I test rode a Transalp today. Vibrates so much. Almost more than my old KTM thumper. Tested a DR800 as well and it vibrates bad but only in the foot pegs. Anyhow, impossible to ride that Honda any longer distances.
Hi, I have a question regarding the engine knocking noise. Did the knocking occur since you started it for the first time or did the knocking sound occur after some miles? I think ym CB750 Hornet also has a weird ticking/knocking sound which occured after the second time I started it afte the 1000 km service. Furthermore, It is ticking for the first 5 to 6 km at around 3000 rpm and afterwards it disappears, when the engine is warm. Do you also have the same issue or is it ticking/knocking all the time? I went to my local Honda dealer and they gave it a couple of revs but could not hear any ticking/knocking noise and said that my Hornet sounds the same like the other ones and if it is a mechanical issue then this noise is noticable all the time and not only at aroun 3000 rpm and for 5 to 6 km...
It seems to knock all the time. It is most noticeable at lower speeds when starting off. Mostly due to less road and wind noise, I guess. But the vibrations are there in every gear no matter my speed. I often wondered if Hornet owners were have the same problem as I?
I just bought this bike 2 Days ago and I didn't notice in the transalp bike test the vibration. Mine vibrates a lot, just called the dealership and they are testing it inna few days😢. Any news on this? Did you solve it? Im from spain
@@julioromeraarroyo5449 they don't want to look at the engine at all. That is where it is coming from. So their excuse is ,they all do it. But many reviews on RUclips say it is very smooth. No vibrations at all .
But warrantee doesn't give you a new bike? This bike IS not the same as the one I tested before buying It. They told me they written honda Europe about It , another person reported this thing in the same week they told me
Any new news from honda. Tired of looking at my bike parked for 4 months now. Its for sale ,but everyone that looks at it and starts it . And hears the knocking and feel the vibrations run away. @julioromeraarroyo5449
@vasav47 they don't want to look at the engine. Imagine how many engines they will have to replace if they take responsibility 🤔. They say the vibrations are normal. They all do that?
Hai Bruce..Honda bikes suffers from issues like loose block slives and overhead dual cam gear poor quality..hear in Malaysia..and yes starts with vibration and knocking sound..if not attended to ..engine will be more costly..
They have 2 to 4 bikes there at any given time for test rides in the parking lot. I believe they get shuffled around to the dealerships . The Transalp has gone to another dealership now.
Makes me wonder if the Frenchman was killed on the Transalp as a result of the vibration
Spoke with him before that. He told me his didn't. So not the issue on his bike. I was told he went down in a curve.

Yes she would.
Sorry to hear. You have a bad luck sounds like lemon bike.
Hope not
Mine don't have vibrations.
Thanks for the info.
@@sasimayandbruce I think my vibrates at 3-5k revs. But mine is not broken in yet.
@ernestt4460 I've got 11,000 kilometers, and it still vibrates tha same as the first time I rode it. It doesn't go away.
My Is vibrating and shaking handa
I wonder why Honda didn't produce the Transalp 750 DCT?
They wanted to be cheaper than the Yamaha and Suzuki. I added a quick shifter, but the DTC is way better. Love mine on the X ADV 750.
That's why tube tires also. Less expensive to produce.
My is new.Only 350 KM and it is not smudge ride at all.I will need to ask for help
Honda needs to be told about every single bike that has the problem. Please report it to your dealership and demand it be fixed under warranty.

Is it fixed and what’s the problem?
No not fixed. Honda doesn't want to cover under warranty an engine vibration problem. They keep looking at the front wheel.
@@sasimayandbruce if they dont want to cover under warranty. do they know the root cause of the issue?

My local Honda dealer won’t even let me test ride one, but the Harley dealer will let me test ride a $30,000 bike 🤷♂️

I have vibration also. Big vibration and sound also same like on Yours. In Honda tels me thats normal.
Best we all notify honda. Take it back and tell them to fix it. Hand them the keys . Tell them it IS NOT NORMAL.
