Not taking anything away from him, but he isn’t doing it for free. When you have a million subscribers and your videos get 2 million views, you’re making some good money from RUclips. But it’s a win-win because we get it for free, and Jerry still gets paid for it.
As a former grunt who's been shooting almost my entire life and learned from an SF sniper (my father) this video (or you specifically) still taught me something. Love your videos!
0:28 It is that moment when he shoulder-fired the 50 cal: CONSECUTIVELY that I realized that Jerry would probably be as strong as an elephant and has drank too much booze that morning.
Got schooled by Jerry Miculek himself! A lot of people would pay money to get instruction from this man. I feel fortunate to have access to his tips and tricks. He's the best alive.
Best comp I've ever had! Bravo, Jerry! Oh, did I say it's being used on .223/5.56 Kalashnikov as well? (Got trophies to back up its efficiency). UPDATE (2018): 4 Jerry's comps used on different rifles. Once in a while I keep buying another "the best thing since sliced bread" just to remove a week later and replace with "tried and true" Jerry's marvel. Save your pesos: get Miculek's, move on and never look back.
Jerry you are my hero! Thanks for sharing all your knowledge it has made me a great shooter. And the 20 plus people I have brought to the world shooting&marksmanship.keep up the good work!
As an old Jarhead that's getting into shooting more and more now that I can afford it a bit more. I appreciate the tips. I was out last weekend using similar stance and hand placements. I've learned a lot from watching Pro's like you and others. Hand placement for the left hand has changed since I was in ( 90's ). However, I've found just as always adapt and over come to become better. Thanks again for the great tips!
I’ll second that Jerry, your compensator speaks for itself! Wasn’t sure on first install, but then I shot it.. now all my rifles have your JM compensator. Thanks Jerry. Really Enjoy your videos especially you’re shooting and comparison videos. top-notch bud
Sir: you have a great ability to to make people understand. As a former photo and video journalist. i will love to video and photograph your style in a competition or just teaching.. Great job.
Jerry is way too cool! I'm new to shooting rifles for competition. This is a good instruction video. His tips improved my technique. I will be buying his videos. Thanks Jerry!

Navy SEALs train with professionals from all over the world in many different skill sets. I heard him say he works with top military professionals I'm sure he has worked with SEALs
Yeah that's true. I read somewhere(in one of Dick Marcinko's books probably) that SEAL Team Six, by itself, used more ammo than the entire Marine Corp one year, and you know Marines are known to be good riflemen. If you shoot that many rounds, and then go into real gunfights against trained baddies, and you are still walking around, you can pretty much trust what the guy says(about combat. Of course many of the skill sets carry over from competition into combat as well.)
My God, when he took that fifty calibre and shot it from his shoulder my jaw hit the ground!! His looks are deceiving he is strong as a bull and a shootist extraordinaire!!
Yea and the break dose a lot as well. Quite a few are seen free standing with them. However they aren’t light, so that is interesting he has no issue moving it about.
The SCAR’s factory muzzle device is not an FN product. It’s a Primary Weapon Systems (PWS) Flash Suppressing Compensator (FSC), and FN chose it because it is awesome.
anytime people ask about shooting, hand placement, transition. i either tell them to watch this or refer to alot of points you put in this video. alot of it is the "fence post" method due to people wanting to grasp the mag well and not as far out as they can go comfortably
Jerry, as the most respected shooter in the world, it is really cool how you never ever shy away from talking about gun safety. I started shooting at 34 and have influenced the guys that I shoot with to use chamber flags and now they all do. I did not grow up with firearms, so I feel really fortunate to have been essentially trained by the greatest to ever do it. I really appreciate you and these videos. Thank you!
As in martial arts foot work is key If you would back out with camera and show full body it would really help We know u can hold a bead show below Thanks Jerry
another great video, love getting information that you know works. Thanks Jerry and i love the Miculek compensator works great at a very affordable price point
Im not saying its not impressive....it is Jerry MF'ing Miculek but the semi auto's don't kick as bad as you think. the massive muzzle break and the barrel recoil system soaks up a lot of it.

Thanks for taking the time to produce a highly instructional video, Jerry. I made sure to take a lot of notes and will try to incorporate that into my runnin' and gunnin' come spring. A tip for those of you shooting Berdan-primed ammo: Remember that it releases corrosive salts that can cause rust and pitting in your barrel and the gas system. Make sure to rinse WELL with hot water any parts of your rifle that the gas will get to (probably pretty messy with DI AR's, a lot easier with piston guns). Many SKS'/Mosins/858's were ruined on our side of the border by not cleaning out the corrosive salts deposited by cheap milsurp Berdan-primed ammo.
I believe I have heard him say that he gets at least 10,000 rounds delivered to his house each month. If he needs more he calls up his sponsor and they'll have another 10k rounds of whatever he wants overnighted to him
I would love to hang out on a range one day and learn as much as I could. More importantly, get to know the man for who you are as a person, not just the shooter.
Don't take offense to the turds. 90 percent of people on you tube are lazy overweight, no skills having, losers. Dumb liberals. I wish I could shoot half as good as Jerry.

have you ever shoulder fired a .50 before?
