I only discovered your channel recently, but I've loved every video I've watched so far. Please keep producing content. It's super helpful and quite motivating. I feel as if I have a similar way of thinking to you so I relate well to your methodologies.
Thank you very much, this was so helpful and insightful! I wrote my AS subjects (Bio, Chem, Physics, Maths and Eng) last year and I only did well for 2 out of the 5 that I have, and I'm rewriting them again in Oct/Nov. I truly struggle to grasp especially mathematical concepts for subjects like math and physics, but I found that time was truly the contributing as to why I performed poorly. So now I self study from home this year, due to financial reasons, although my former classmates and my science teacher offered to assist. I also have got ADHD, so it's a struggle to stay focused for longer than 30 mins at a time. Any free advice please?
Hi there! I don't have ADHD but if you're struggling to stay focused for lengthy periods of time then I recommend the pomodoro method! Basically you study for short but extensive 25 minute sessions, then take a 5/10 minute break, and repeat! I personally find this method works well for me in addition to "study with me" videos. Setting up a consistent routine is also much more efficient than trying to cram the night before, so make sure to manage your time! I hope these help, and good luck for your exams! You're going to smash it! :)
hey im in yr 11 and rn im getting 5s and 4s and 3s i really want to leave with at least 6s and 7s can i do it and how many hours should i be doing from now. i do 7 subjects
The time doesn't really matter as much, it's about what you are choosing to work on and finding where you are struggling. I would start with as much as you can handle consistently and then maybe work up from there but there is no right answer as everyone is different. For me, I probably did around 2-6 hours during holidays to improve!
lovely video! ive been subsirbed to your channel for over a year and i absolutely love the "if the exam was tomorrow which chapter would i least likely to be tested on". i wanted to ask for suggestion. i want to revise for chemistry AND biology on the same day as the exams are back to back and i dont have any gaps inbetween. what can i do? how should i set out my timetable? like 3 hours chem 3 hours bio? please replya s soon as you see this!
my plan is... 3 weeks = learn content and blurt/flashcards 3 weeks = bang out past papers and blurt/flashcards pls lmk if this is a good plan and hopefully this would enable me to get 7s and 8s as im stuck on 6s atm :// do you think during easter break 8 hours of revision a day is too much?
that looks like a good plan, just make sure you stick to it. and 8 hours is not a lot, just divide the time up throughout the day, like 4 hours in the morning and 4 hours at night/evening.
This sounds good! Everyone's study style is a little different but if you're planning on tackling 8 hours a day, I would recommend making sure to space out your study sessions throughout the day with regular breaks in between so you don't tire yourself out.
so would you say different subjects would be on the same or different days? (like english + maths on mondays OR english on mondays, maths on wednesdays)
It really depends on what you are struggling most on at the moment. If your maths is much worse than your english and you want to improve maths, then focus on that more! You can choose to do as many or as few subjects a day, it doesn't really matter as long as you are doing something!
@@JadenYee lets just say i covered all of my reds in biology, would i cover my reds in chemistry or would i cover the oranges and greens in biology first?
You'll see you don't really need a template as everyone will be doing different subjects and have different topics! It is very easy to make and you can start in no time!
I've been watching your videos recently and they've been of magnificent help. However, I have a question. I've been attending classes and all since the beginning of As level but I didn't start the preparation for cies yet, is it too late to start or do I still have time to prepare for three As subjects?
I do foundation in maths and I got a Grade 4 in my march mock exams. I'm aiming to get a grade 5. But for science I got a 4,3 and I'm aiming for a 5,5. So should I use the timetable in the video.
So do you think for bio chem and physics, if I’m sitting at a 6 nd 7 overall for them, I can get a 9 by gcses if I revise properly or should I of started earlier
I think you'll be able to achieve anything if you put in the work as soon as possible. Try practice questions and really focus on exam technique by doing past papers if you already know the content.

Thank you so much! Means a lot!
I'm glad I found your account Jaden. Literally motivate me to continue my efforts on the subjects I've take
So glad to hear that! Goodluck on your studies!
you're kinda goated with this content cheers for making it bro

i saw a similar video like this. this method is really good
I agree!
interesting way to revise i will try the retrospective timetable
Goodluck!
You came right on time oh my goodness
Thanks for watching!

i recommend 2-2/30 hours a day to bump up

Im exactly the same

Big compliment!
What are ur tips for a long term memory?
when you learn something repeat it to yourself 3 times and then write it as many times as you can. revise what you learned every couple of days
Test yourself with active recall. Make questions on content you have learnt or use flashcards. Then do practice papers!

2-3 hours a day would be sufficient. 8 hours of revision is ok for one day but it is unsustainable in the long term and will lead to burnout!!
Sounds good, revision is different for each person and personally I do find it quite challenging to work for super long hours
This sounds good! Everyone's study style is a little different but if you're planning on tackling 8 hours a day, I would recommend making sure to space out your study sessions throughout the day with regular breaks in between so you don't tire yourself out.
actually a very informative video
Thank you!
Do you have a revision guide for year 10? Thank you so much for the videos they’re really helpful
The same tips will apply to year 10 as year 11 and sixth form videos. They are all very similar!
Is it too late to star at 3 weeks

but im panicking soooo much and i really dont know how i am going to get myself motivated enough. doing A2 levels May june. and idkkkk what im doing

Try to stay calm and focus on what you think is most important to know. Goodluck!
Good one
Thank you!
do u have a template?
You'll see you don't really need a template as everyone will be doing different subjects and have different topics! It is very easy to make and you can start in no time!
A 4 week revision also pls
It would be very similar but focusing on only your most important topics or weakest topics

I prefer The Retrospective Revision Timetable
@@JadenYee me too

Cool content !! Btw ur gf is very pretty :)
Thank you! She is very pretty indeed!
What if my memory is terrible?
Try using active recall techniques, it comes with alot of practice. Consistency is key to memorising information!
How many hours a day would anyone recommend for past papers and flashcards
3
As much as you feel comfortable with or can!
Is it to late if I start my revision now?
no
It's never too late!
I’m about to start… I feel like I left it way too late but better now than later!
what did u get?
Hello! Can you do a video on UCAT pleaseee
I did one a while ago actually! Check my channel!
I do foundation in maths and I got a Grade 4 in my march mock exams. I'm aiming to get a grade 5. But for science I got a 4,3 and I'm aiming for a 5,5. So should I use the timetable in the video.
I would recommend anyone to use this timetable!
same man
Can you make a video on how to revise french/languages
It would be the same using active recall, flashcards and practice speaking/listening to videos and people speak in that language!
Great
im predicted 6's and i really want 7-9s
Goodluck in working towards it!
As a person doing their gcse's with multiple subjects, how will i know which subjects to revise on each day?
I would suggest focusing on whatever subjects/topics you find most difficult or are most important to you
Where is my may/june 2022 exam gang for igcse
So do you think for bio chem and physics, if I’m sitting at a 6 nd 7 overall for them, I can get a 9 by gcses if I revise properly or should I of started earlier
100%
You need to really want it!
How u gonna revise
How do u revise science’s?
I think you'll be able to achieve anything if you put in the work as soon as possible. Try practice questions and really focus on exam technique by doing past papers if you already know the content.
