Fantastic idea. I don't have the ability to weld but just ordered one from bottle jack buddy.

Thank you! 👍🏼 they do make really good products. If I didn’t have a welder I would get one from them too.

Nice project. I like the ammo can storage idea for outside secure storage. My only suggestion would be to consider using 1/4” fender washers on the inside of the can for more support. Cheers from 🇨🇦

Good call! Some bigger washers would definitely make it sturdier! I appreciate the support from a northern neighbor 👍🇨🇦🇺🇸

Absolutely! You going to overland in Flagstaff az in May? Id love to look at the ammo can Idea. I bet you could fit a bottle jack and our standard size Bj Buddy™ in it.

Yep we’ll be going up there and if there’s spots available we’ll be in the camping area. I would love to show you the ammo can setup too

Sounds good. We got three camp spots. If not shoot me a message and I can show you 10 different spots within a few miles!

Nice ! just a reminder you have measuring marks on the speed square so you wouldn't have to fumble with the tape measure flopping LOL .. I need to make one of these or similar for my bottle jack now !

Excellent concept! I was just thinking of ammo can storage on a design for a winch bumper. Thanks.

Could have used a spring perch, (meant to be welded to an axle, for leaf springs), instead of cutting bending and welding all that metal.

Thanks for watching! I thought about that but for the price of the metal at the time and how long it took this was a pretty easy option. Plus it helped me practice my welds
