I love this map, used to play it alot during my childhood, river runs through it was the main map that me and my dad played against 6ai, but if we wanted something else this was the map. We always got the classic 12 BC army as well and deleted everything, and I gotta say this game was gold. Thanks for casting (sort of) Arty and thanks to the BC and Carrier players for a great game to watch!

Arty didn't need to leave, just do the same big brain move as the other terran and take the 4 islands and let the people on mainland kill each other. But i understand him not wanting to draw it out, you could draw out an ffa game forever on this map.
The one thing I wish they would do for this game is add the ability to become an obs, because it sucks when you die early on and then you miss out on an epic game

I like a lot watching those FFA games, I wish we would have that in GSL, whether it would be just a promo match for fun or something to decide the group placement or give a special advantage to the one winning this match like giving a pass directly to the Ro8 next GSL or something else.

Artosis, all FFA casts you do get 2x the views of your other content. You should host and cast FFA games for subscribers every night and post the videos next day. Easily 10k views on each video. Make a leaderboard, rotate participants, and host tournaments with the best subs around it. I would happily subscribe for the opportunity to play!
@@lawrence9561 He can't see all of the map if and doesn't have the observer features if he is playing. He also needs to focus on playing which means less focus for casting. It's still entertaining, but the numbers don't lie! He gets more views when he hosts these FFAs than his solo play content
Cory Cortez You’re right about what you say. I think for him to alternate between playing in one game and observing another game would be great for variety. Personally it is the main feature of the video when he does play, outweighing observer disadvantages. Both ways, observing or playing are great. For right now, I look forward to when he plays.

not sure what all the crying is about, thats how FFAs are, you have to be prepared to be attacked while you are out attacking. FFAs are as much about luck as they are skill.

If Arty spawned in the corner, the outcome might've been somewhat different. This map was definitely intended for Top vs Bottom.
The last 3 players all spawned in corners which shows you the balance.
I think use map settings on this map is 2v2v2v2 in all the corners
