  • Bought this recently and had to share how impressed I am with it! The Good Knowled F400Bi is a flexible bicolour LED light mat that creates a wonderful soft light, even at close range in a restricted space. In this video I rather unfairly use it for lighting myself outdoors on a fairly sunny day, but as you can see it copes very well indeed! From a cinematographer point of view, I can see this being extremely useful in so many situations.

The radio mic kit I'm using is the Hollyland Lark MAX - amzn.to/3tibFlA

Crossing fingers that someone releases a universal Bluetooth app this year to unify all these brands.

If the V-mount can output 200 watts, can you get more than 50% with two batteries?

@ 2:32 what v-mount did you use to attach the battery pack to clamp

This looks amazing man. I'm all for light and portable lighting setups. I'm guessing it's out of my price range but I'd sure love to have it.

Godox used to be in my price range but lately theyve gone way beyond it

super curious if the 200 panel would be useable like this or if its too little power.

I think you may have missed the point of the video.

I think he is remarking on ur video description which says that you are using the light outdoors in sun which implicates that the light can over power the sun. Instead it should have said: outdoors in deep shade on a sunny day

It doesn't say that, it says: "In this video I rather unfairly use it for lighting myself outdoors on a fairly sunny day" which is all entirely accurate. The light IS competing with the sun in terms of matching the intensity on me vs the background, but nowhere do I imply it can overpower it. That's a very odd reading of the description.

@@fryfilm2000 "In this video I rather unfairly use it for lighting myself outdoors on a fairly sunny day, but as you can see it copes very well indeed!" knock it off! the inference is clear.

No it isn’t - why would you want to overpower the sun? When would that be useful? The point here is to make it look like the presenter is in the sun, but using a good light to control the illumination on him so you’re not subject to fluctuations in actual sunlight.

Godox app is notoriously trash. I have 2 lights that connected once and then never again as the app foced me to upgrade and that was the end of it
