- Gimnazija Kranj Great Christmas Concert 2017 - Invitation to the Dance. Gimnazija Kranj Symphony Orchestra and United Choirs performed this stunning music under the baton of maestro Nejc Bečan. The Orchestra sold out two consecutive nights, december 18th and 19th, 2017 in Gallus Hall, Cankarjev doma, Ljubljana, Slovenia, EU. They played as usual with great spirit and musical excelence. Concert master is Nejc Avbelj. Our youth orchestra set another musical milestone. Concert and film director: Primož Zevnik
"Quando, quando, quando" (pronounced [ˈkwando ˈkwando ˈkwando]) is an Italian pop song from 1962, in the bossa nova style, with music written by Tony Renis and lyrics by Alberto Testa. The song, originally recorded in two different versions by Tony Renis and Emilio Pericoli, competed in the Sanremo Music Festival in 1962, where it placed fourth, and later became a commercial success in Italy, topping the Musica e dischi singles chart.

Male soloist has such a pure tone and the female soloist has great sense of timing with her partner. Nice sax solo as well.

I find myself watching many of your performances and I'm not one usually prone to emotional outpourings but even I found my eyes filled with tears of happiness at the love and appreciation shown, towards these two talented young singers, from both audience and orchestra alike.......Life sometimes brings us moments of pure joy. Beautiful version of this classic! Even across the cultures and language divide, it holds the song beautifully. My one wish, is that the female vocalist would engage more emotionally with her male counterpart. Despite that her voice is stronger than his, she should be connecting with him as though they were in love, as the song causes us to hope and long for them. Play the role! Smile! Yearn!

I stumbled upon this quite by accident. The orquestra/conductor are both superb!!! Both singers are great. But Nexa Cadez I just love her voice so much. She is too heartbreakingly beautiful and lovely for words. In this appearance and in the medley of Burt Bacharach/ Hal David songs her voice is so very gorgeous. She has no trouble at all hitting the highest of notes. Her phrasing for someone so young also incredible. I’m gushing I know!!! I hope Nexa has by this time released a CD. I’ll keep looking for it!!!!!Bravo mil veces!!! To everyone especially Nexa and her singing partner!!!

It's quite amazing to find so much talent in one Hight School. But when a school gets a reputation for good musical education and talent, the musical students will definitely prefer to enroll in it. This is a High School only, with full high school curriculum. The music education will be optional. The higher music education is a choice eventually for the carrier in music, opera or classical and soloists.

Very nice! The audience gave this performance very enthusiastic applause. Even Maestro Bečan broke protocol and clapped for the two soloists Lovro Krišelj and Neža Čadež. I suspect this was their final performance with the Gimnazija Kranj Symphony Orchestra and the audience was most appreciative of their participation in these concerts.

It must be a hard thing to transfer Slovenian to English and deliver a performance in a professional way. It would be almost impossible for someone like me, raised in English to deliver a credible version in any other language. Music is far more seamless. Well done my friends.
