I`m a mexican Danzon no. 2 lover, and this one is one of the best versions i have heard around youtube... Congratulations to the Gimnazija Kranj Symphony Orchestra ¡¡¡¡¡¡¡
My heart overflows with deep joy and gratitude everytime I have the privilege of listening AND watching this obviously delight-filled group perform. The masterful conducting and corresponding magnificent response from each and every member of the orchestra are further enhanced by the exquisite sound and video recording. Thank you one and all for the blessing you are to me and a sign of peace you are to all of humanity in this chaotic world of today.
From Guanajuato Mexico congratulations. I am very exciting that hear this wonderful song with this orchestra and know that other side of the world interpret this song by Arturo Marquez.
Amazing!! I remember, maybe one or two years ago I said if this Orchestra play this Danzón I really will became crazy. I love this piece by Márquez, listening it and playing it is indescriptible! Thanks!

Beautiful musical piece by the master Jesus Arturo Márquez Navarro, Danzon # 2, this melody makes you fly, transports you to the past to memories, makes you feel again what is no longer there, sigh and above all makes you move, move your body , your soul, is an auditory experience that makes you vibrate. LIVE MEXICO CABRONES !!
I must say in general good performance of the orchestra The sound quality is quite good, of all the performances and videos that I have seen I think it is one of the best if not the best, you can hear all the instruments clearly, and precisely because of That is why I realized that at minute 1:43 there was an error by the pianist And at minute 8:46 she stops playing with her left hand and only plays with her right hand when she should have played with both hands. But it is a pride that Mexican muscia is performed in countries on the other side of the world Good job
Beautiful ensemble! The members of the orchestra are superb! The members of this group really show the precision of a well nit assembly! Just look at the Violin performers and you’ll get the feel of smooth in-sync bows moving like a steady wind! The horns also bring back the memories of when the “Red sea parted” in the Exodus of the chosen ones!
I have become sooooo addicted to this divinely incredible orchestra led by Conductor Bacòn., mindful of Psalm 16:11 "In your prescence is fullness of joy."
An added gift is watching these fine artists grow and flourish over the years. The incomparable Nadja Drakslar is arguably the most illustrious example. Many are like old friends -- the violinist at 1:17 and 3:22 (what is her name?) has been with the Gimnazija Kranj Symphony Orchestra since at least as far back as "Adios Nonino" (Gimnazija Kranj Great Spring Concert 2012). Nejc Bečan is at least the equal of Gustavo Dudamel and is deserving of global acclaim and thanks for bringing this orchestra, these artists, to an appreciative audience of millions.

For those of you who have missed Nadja I am happy to report that her absence is because her third child is due to arrive any day now! So I think that means that in 16 years or so concert producer and director Primož Zevnik and Maestro Nejc Bečan will have three more brilliant musicians in the Gimnazija Kranj orchestra.
This performance, as with all other performances by this incredible ORCHESTRA always exceeds my expectations. I would love to know if they have performed any music from the movie Interstellar? They would probably do an amazing job on this very emotional, epic soundtrack music, especially with their incredible conductor, Nejc Becan. Bravo!!
Great as always. Is there a particular reason why you don't present the full concert? In the past, you did present some (Christmas and, I think, Easter)
