Great channel and reviews. You don’t focus on specs or marketing, just the experience and feel of cars and that’s wat ultimately matters for enthousiasts. Keep going!
Yo man. First time I've seen one of your vids, and it happened to be this one. Just wanted to say, love the style, pacing, visuals and the overall tone (including the tunes) of your video. All around enjoyable and pleasant to watch! Just keep doing your thing!
I rarely comment on youtube videos, but i must say that this is one of the best and unique car reviews i have watched in a very long time. Your focus on emotions and experience is what i am missing in many car reviews these days. Please keep up the excellent work and experience focused reviews. A car is much more than specs & numbers. Great shots and voiceover stroytelling are a prefect combo! Love it!
Amazing video about the M3 Touring. One of the best and most on point reviews I've seen so far. I've had the G80 M3 for two days and it has been much better in many aspects compared to my former M3 CS, but it felt digital and numb. If I could afford an expensive daily next to a fun car, it would be the M3 Touring, but it's just not a car which makes me get up early in the morning to drive my favourite mountain roads and which makes me smile from the moment I turn on the engine. Hats off to BMW though for making a car like that in times like these
glad you agree. I think some people might not understand. why did you get rid of the CS? I never drove the M3 CS, but I drove the M2 CS MT and it felt quite special to me.
very true. I've owned a M2 Comp before, put 70k km on it, 60k km on the M3, drove the G80, got back into the F80 and thought I would keep it forever. I've made the mistake to test a 718 boxster 25jahre with the 4 liter engine. sold the F80. now I'm in a 718 Spyder and absolutely love it @@FizzyMotors
I really want one but there are two issues for me: 1. Price. Cars are bonkers expensive now. I realise inflation and supply chain issues have not helped but cheap finance coupled with PCP has fuelled a demand that gave manufacturers the confidence to increase prices ever higher. £100k+ for a 3 series, even one with an M badge, is nuts. Especially when you can buy an F90 M5 for half the price (like I did). 2. The screen. I’m old school so a beautifully designed set of dials and switches is the hallmark of a special car. And the more buttons the more expensive your car. These new screens look terrible to me but, what is worse, is how the screen is just stuck on a dashboard that evolved to support an instrument binnacle. If flatscreens are the future, at least redesign the dash around the screen so it looks integrated - I bet there will be some really cool implementations of the flatscreen in the future but, right now, it looks like a massive fudge.
Excellent review. I drive a G80 but I have no history with previous barn burners such as the F80. The G80/82 are the homologation of the GT4. As such, they carry over some of the GT4's configurability. This is a good thing in my books. And fun to figure out. But each to his own. And I understand why you'd prefer simplicity.
Nice review of your experience; I also drove/tested the M3 touring as a daily driver…I did not want to love it (because of the looks), but it’s an amazing car and I loved driving it! I think it’s a great daily, but not a great “special” weekend toy. Sadly the front is not the nicest and the digital dashboard is just plain ugly :( By the way: as a Speedmaster nerd; nice Speedmaster Racing Michael Schumacher edition you are wearing.
I think so. Because I wouldn't really want to take this car on track if I owned one. Maybe just once or twice for laughs. My use case for this car will mostly be for commute and as a daily. And if that's the case then I would think the Alpina is better suited for this. Plus the Alpina gets to keep the nicer front grille.
That's a quality review, thank you. The M3 will find its fanbase, I just always wanted BMW to make a real M7 Competition, this would have been the best BMW ever made. I know there is an M760Li, but it's not an M7. For me, all M cars are way too short optics wise and space wise.
Great review. I liked your presentation style. The sad thing is I live In the united states. This car is not available for us and likely will never be. My choices are only the RS6, Upcoming M5 Touring(Hybrid), and possibly the Upcoming AMG E53 Wagon(Hybrid).
8:40 - that's exactly what this car is meant for xD You just can't do it. Put it in RWD only and floor it around the corner. You will like it ;) This car likes to drift
I tried, it was not easy. Dont get me wrong, ive driven the new M2 also, and it feels more natural to oversteer. This m3 touring is really not easy. I think you have to be a very good and confident driver to do it or you have to be going much faster.

Love the format, feels like I'm in a cigar lounge late at night listening to my favourite podcast! Please do more, you've earned a subscriber!

This car has completely changed my opinion on wagons. What a beautiful vehicle

haha you made the right choice. once you own a Porsche, there is no going back! I had the 4RS for a short while, and it was mind blowing

Man I love your review! Kudos
What great review! Really like the way you describe the car and shows us the beautiful view. Keep up the good work man!
you have a great talent of making videos! keep it up!

glad you released another video !!
I’m curious how do Germans feel about the new grilles? And are BMWs cheaper over there? I wish we had the touring in the US…
Great review! Like it very much.
Fantastic video 🙌🏽🙌🏽🙌🏽
Wow thanks
Love your content
Why they dont send it to usa
new subscriber here , LOVE THIS !

Please do a review wth 2023 Alpina B3 touring - please 🙏🙏
I would love to but i don’t have access to one
Love it! I may ask where did you rent it? I rented an m4 competition this May with Sixt in Munich
Sixt frankfurt airport
you didn't overheat the brakes? Were they ok all the time?
Yea they were fine, but i also didnt push the car that hard. Driving in. Foreign country and on the other side of the road, i dont feel as confident

Thanks! I love the watch too
Given your considerations maybe the alpina suits the modern 3 series better? What do you think?

loved this, also, can you drop the name of your watch?
Thanks!
The watch is an Omega Speedmaster reduced Schumacher edition from the 90s
Will you review the M3CS Touring in the future?
I wish
Interesting review.
how much does it cost to rent a car like this in Germany?
Depends highly on time of year
I went during low season
Was about 250euro per day.
Hey, if you don’t mind me asking, what site did you rent this car from?
Sixt
That's a quality review, thank you.

Is it comfortable for a daily driving ?
Yes i think so.
But it depends on the roads of your country.
Driving it in Germany, it felt perfect
Even I england where the roads are crap this car in comfort mode it great
@@johnnyboy1586 good to know

@@FizzyMotors I have a video of what you can do with an M3 ^^ just don’t know how to share it to you. I can’t send you a message here
Love this
My daily 2011 328i with base HIFI system sounds far better than in my g80 and G05 …HK is nothing really special as far as sound goes 🤷🏻♂️
