- Pilipit... Bitso Bitso... Shakoy... or Lubid Lubid is a traditional Filipino version of a Twisted deep fried doughnuts. Made with flour, sugar, salt, butter, and yeast as leavener then rolled in white sugar.
ingredients:
3 cups all purpose flour
3 tbsp sugar
1 cup fresh milk, room temperature
2 tbsp melted butter
1/4 tsp fine salt
1 tsp vanilla extract
1 pc large egg
1 1/2 tsp instant dry yeast

Check you yeast before using it... Put a little amount of yeast in warm water and small amount of sugar wait for 10mins, if it bubbles a lot then it is active.
