    Hey Craig! Thanks for the review, and thank you to Ecrooz for giving you that opportunity! Some great takes in there, but one that we cannot agree with is the noisy gear drives, our gear drives are very quiet, especially for steel gear drives. Chances are, the gear drives on your unit are either lacking some grease, or have a noisy bearing. Ecrooz should look into it :)
    And you are correct, the bushings from ESK8CON were not great, but those were pre production bushigns. The ones fitted since then have been upgraded, and while they are obviously not on Riptide’s level, they are much better!
    And what a great info on the pressure on the tires going up during riding, it’s something I never considered myself during long range rides. I’ll make sure to pay attention to that next time while riding!

      @@acedeckboards thanks for the reply and the feedback. I did tell Tom at Ecrooz about the noise and he’s looking into it which he always does. They are such a great crew of guys down here in Australia. I remember the boards that Drew and Scott were riding in Vegas definitely were not as noisy as this one was. Awesome news about the bushings too, as that’s a game changer for sure. The air temperature was really low on the day I rode, so I was really pleased to know the tires warmed up even in those conditions, so well.
      Thanks again to Ecrooz for their continued support and Acedeck for all that you do for our sport with new products and continuing upgrades. Am looking forward to the new release soon. 😁❤️🛹🦘

      I'll be biting the bullet soon and purchasing one of these boards. It's a lot of money but what do you think is better? Would the NYX Z3 be fine for coastal bike path rides with grass patches along the rides? Will the tires be fine for that use?
      I'll be passing down my semi new handy down to my wife for her birthday too, so this is a win-win. Researched a ton and watched many who were sent boards to review them. But it is better to ask the company directly.

      @@Mapleaple I just picked up an NYX Z3 the other day from Ecrooz to review. The Nomad is a beautiful board, but I love riding over grass and gravel regularly and the NYX is amazing for that. It’s a hard choice to make, but it comes down to what sort of riding you are doing and want to do in the future. The nomad has heaps of street cred, fast carving, racing and the launch is amazing, while Nyx will do the road well, and can do the rest also. Comes down to your individual needs. Both amazing choices.

    I had to return mine and request for an exchange. The drivetrain and gear drives were faulty and didn’t feel safe riding the board. Customer service was helpful, but lack in knowledge on diagnosing issues.

      @@ervinabalos7409 sorry to hear that. Am glad to hear they exchanged it. They have some pretty amazing people there, so I am surprised they couldn’t diagnose for you. Hopefully the replacement is doing well for you.

    Very helpful review! What type of venom bushings? 100a? I just ordered the nomad n3 elite board and would like to know what bushing to get before it arrives

    I'm going to be purchasing an Acedeck soon it's a lot of money. Question... im torn between the Acedeck NYX3 Suspension board V.S Acedeck Nomad N3?
    I love the look of both but im more of a bike path rider wher emost of where I live is urban along the coast with grass throughout. My wife rides and ill be passing down my sadly Lyacon TRX 3.0 before it was sold to scammers.
    Which board should I buy for myself?

    It's very hard to lose your position with that grip tape . And the deck is top notch . Nice review Craig.

    That deck is THICK. It must have the flexibility of brick, bolted to concrete, on a steel beam?

    • @CraigTaylorYT
      @CraigTaylorYT  4 месяца назад +1

      @@chloefletcher9612 it’s pretty rigid that’s for sure. The deck shape is shaped so well though. So good.
