If you vote online or with the app make sure you wait until the end to vote! I was voting in the middle of the show. One time I went back on to double check my votes at the last commercial break and they were NOT saved! I had to redo them!! Double check your votes on the last commercial!

Jack is easily the winner when compared to who is left. He’s the only one I could hear his voice on the radio and know exactly who is singing. That makes him an artist and unique. Well done, Jack!

Watching Jack almost always brings tears to my eyes. Lots of his notes and facial expressions are so powerful. It's like he doesn't realize or care that he's in a competition... he's just there to entertain everyone... and have fun doing it. He's so real... looks like he'd be fun to get to know. Would I want to get to know any of the others? None that I've noticed.
I'm a huge fan, he can do many genres of music extremely well.

Loved this song choice from Jack! He did a killer job with it and made it his own. I felt so connected to this. One of my favorite Jack performances so far.

That was outstanding! Jack gave us the right kind of drama and his vocal was spot-on-and so fitting for the song. A timeless song. To me, the best performance of the night. He so earned that spot in the finale!
I see some comments here where Abi is a better singer and gave the best performances-well, I strongly disagree; although, music is subjective. I think she does belong in the final 3. Jack takes us on believable journeys, and he emotes and gestures without over-thinking. He basically pulls you into his vocal. He’s vocally unpredictable; a good example is this performance. He’s technical enough, and I was blown away when he sang those higher and beautiful notes that carried and floated. That part was so captivating.
He’s singing songs that complement the original artist, and he lures you with his vocal and stage presence. Nothing pretentious about his performances; he’s on a roll!

@@autk, down boy/girl, down boy/girl! Whatever! My comment is not meaningless, in fact, it’s complimentary to Jack. You must be really bothered by his getting such high praise ever since the top 24. No need to be threatened by his potential winning, in reality, Abi might just win, especially since she is the last female standing, and there hasn’t been a female winner for years. Will just might grab the win because of the country vote. I like him, and he’s marketable. Abi’ fanbase has dug in deep. I don’t vote on what I read on “social media.” As a matter of fact, I only make comments on performances that I like. I did compliment Abi on her “Bring Me To Life” performance. So, when I see/hear a really good performance, I’ll land on it. I said all along that she would be in the top 3. I do think Abi has become more 1-dimensional and predictable, and again, she deserves to be in the top3. Now, go back to Abi’s videos and give her all the pleasantries that you can. I’m sticking by Jack, and to me, he should win this whole thing! I’m sure he’ll shine, with his performances, and his being unparalleled to anyone in this comp. His unpredictable nature, his reaching across genres, and this performance, alone made it “epic.”

picking up the guitar, setting the vibe, sounding great on the melody. His upper range was so infectious, nice intensity, loved the slide guitar backing him up. This was surprisingly magical. Well done! Great song choice.
Jack your so out of this world. You did this oldie so cool and your own. I think it should come down to Jack & Abi they are both equally talented but Jack is perfection every time. It's so good to hear him do these really retro songs. He nailed it! David Bowie would be proud

The know it all judges said no to him at first. Got to love it.
Luke didn't. Luke said he saw something special in him and then asked the crew what they thought. With the support of the crew, he was given a shot.
Luke said yes and that he believe in the guy then had to ask the crew what they thought.

Luke voted yes for him, katie was the one discriminating through her own twisted up nose & continued all the way through hollywood with a fsew added snide comments & even top 24 where jelly roll shook her up a bit by standing up to her as well as advising jack with compliments. Lionel followed katie during auditions, but came around much quicker to lukes side during hollywood as he saw what luke & we all saw in jack through his performances. Jack told lionel he'd do the work to prove him wrong, & jack followed through with that promise & then some to the point proving to katie he should be there. He fought harder i believe than the other contestants this season, slowly won over the other judges & gathered a storm of support in voters. Underdog is close, the cards were stacked against him but he persevered. He's been my top 3 since the beginning with will moseley and a plus 1 as they were all good this season, loved will since auditions but with all that jack overcame, i believe jack should win this season.
That's because he's pretty mediocre. But of course, American Idol is a popularity contest, not a talent contest.

I agree. I think sometimes the judges just stuck in their ways of what is good. It just took the nudges from the staff to set them straight. I was also screaming through the tv to keep him :)

I love this song, and I love Jack Blocker's singing - so what is not to love about this? I wonder whether David Bowie would have enjoyed it, too? I think he might have been tickled that people are still singing such an old song of his and making it new again.
His new album 23 Forever shows his ability to sing much different than he has on American Idol. It’s interesting how Idol changed his name to Jack Blocker. His name on 23 Forever (Rightfield) is John Forest Blocker.

I find it funny that they can make a song a "Disney" song because it was randomly in a Disney movie at one point in time. lol When I think of a Disney song, I think of an original from a Disney movie.
