As a truck driver struggling on these roads with traction, I salute these individuals helping us! Most people go out of their way to make our days harder, it’s nice to finally have some help :)
Are you driving an automatic?
Do trucks drivers in usa not have tire chains?
@@pigbenis4207 The average snowfall in the state is 0.1 inches. Snow remains on the ground for less than a week before melting. My guess is they dont even put on snow tires so I doubt they have tire chains .
@@shari9721 we have seen this fiasco more than once. I would have a set of iron in the tool box. They may rust to nothing but they would be there for such occasions.
Every day i watch people nearly merge into their deaths getting on the interstate. They dont even bother looking. Truck drivers make our roads safer.
I find it very encouraging to see people leaving their cozy warm homes, to go out in the cold and help people they do not even know. Thank you!
They’re bored. Yes its heroic but they’re bored too
Hahaha
Not want and cozy when there's no power.
They all look Hispanic
@@wizzdom1511 they usually spend their weekends pulling each other out of muck, fair play
Hoping someone would give these guys a shout out! They also help emergency workers get to hospitals and work!
Thanks to the Jeep Club for their help.
Way to go, Jeep drivers. Sounds like the Southern thing to do.

Exactly right..
That’s why they say “Texas is another whole country” 👍🏽

Gets some sand-rock y’all be surprised how fast those 18 wheelers 🛞 get out from a pinch.
@Happy News, what are you talkin bout? Texas is the South and as Southern as it gets... 🤦
North Texas Jeep Club, thank y'all so much! Texans, baby! 👍❤🤍💙
I’m from Minnesota and the one thing you never do is put your hands in your pockets when your walking and it’s slippery
From mn, recently moved down here to Texas. I can confirm thats a fact
Why is that? I'm from Southern California so I have no idea what you mean? Lol
@@Daniel-gs8xu You unexpectedly slip and fall, not much time to get your hands out of your pockets. Plus you have better balance with your arms extended.
It seems that the Texas Department Transportation could spring for a few sand trucks they seem to have ice storms from time to time. Kudos to the Jeep club for helping out
It's definitely happening annually at this point. They need to get exactly what they use up north.
I’ve seen a few salt trucks in south Fort Worth but that’s it. They clearly need more, there are way too many people that live here now to not.
They tend to use sand more than salt. Which is actually pretty silly.. it just makes *mud* . Icy mud.
@@christian7200 Well good luck down there
I’d say use some of the funds that go to tyrannical law enforcement departments and spring for some decent equipment to help keep the roads safe.
This is awesome. Many thanks to the Jeep club. ❤️
This literally made me cry! Love seeing people still care for others in this day and age. Blessings
Your reaching for likes or you need to grow up.. I understand this is heart warming but if you shed tears over something like this you might need to talk to a professional about your feelings and emotions
@@quetincarpenter4862 real and true
@@quetincarpenter4862 lol wow. Maybe you should see someone about yours too? Likes don’t pay my bills especially nit from me commenting on other peoples posts so that weird to even say that I’m reaching for likes. Who cares about likes!?
Literally nothing on the road lmao 😂
it is normal for off-roaders, we are waiting for this
Another reason to love the jeep community
They probably all waved to each other and traded rubber duckies too 😆
🙌 I drive a hummer h3. Always willing to help when I can. Awesome seeing the jeep club helping out.
Beautiful young man and woman may GOD bless them all for their services 🙏 ❤
Nothing but respect for my trucker's,and big respect for the jeep drivers.
Thanks to all those that helped and the JEEP drivers!👍👍👍
Gotta love the local 4WD clubs. Great job yall. 🥸
Very cool 😎 Jeep drivers. Great Americans. Be safe. 💕
Excellent job Carnales!
Citizens donating their time and doing more than the paid city. 👍🏿
Even in my smaller town directly west of FTW TX there were a LOT of jeeps just muling around today out & ready to help people. I wonder if they saw the video on the news or all got together on social media?? Either way they are absolutely appreciated !
Awesome folks helping out!🇺🇲💖🇺🇲
Thank you @carnalesoffroadclub
np! Also I am a member of Los Carnales Jeep Club !
Great job guys, from a fellow Jeeper!
Now THIS is what we should see more of, instead of "pileup" stories. These folks, who are forced to be out on the road for work, or other reasons, are being smart. They know the ice is there and they are driving accordingly - and thank God for the Jeep Club!!! Y'all are iron-horse heroes! WTG!
Hell, yes, brother Jeep club standing tall🙏😁💯💥
Big shout out to Jeep club helping trucks move so we can have essential stuff and groceries at the markets
I thank everyone for helping and the love ❤️ they really made truck driver day thank you
Jeep need to pay these people for their advertising
Exactly what we need, more people stepping up to take care of their community. Good job folks
Maybe just maybe Dallas county begins to prep these roads just like the cities in the north
Bite your tongue, this storm meant a payed day off from work for me, you shut your mouth right now! 😡 😭
Na, that would make too much sense xD
The freeways are always prepped and it’s TxDOT’s job to do it. But there’s not much you can do when there is freezing rain and sleet. This isn’t as easy as snow removal. Freezing rain coats everything it touches into solid ice.
@@214dude2 Not trying to be rude, but I'm from KC, MO. The interstates and streets when Jan and Feb hits we do get freezing rain. The city put down chemicals to prevent water to solidity. So I agree freezing rain coats everything it touches but theres ways to prevent that on the roads.
@@emozie7428 They did. They but down a salt mixture call brine. We’ve had 3 storms back to back. There’s only so much they can do.
Heroes are coming out of the woods to help others in need thanks jeep guys and gals what an awesome story
Thank God for those people!
Glad to see people want to help those in need. Blessings on Blessings
Thank God for you helpers and responders in total
Love that Jeep life
Heroes out there, saving people from these conditions.
Great story. Wonderful people.
Don’t underestimate the brotherhood of Texans
Jeep people live for this and can’t wait to spring into action for stuff like this. Fellow jeeper
Best thing iv seen all day!!! excellent job to those jeeps!
Awesome great people !!
That's freaking awesome. Absolutely love it. Texas people are 👍
Thank you 😊
Great job each other helping your neighbors, drivers. Well done!!
If Jeep doesn’t put this on their next ad, they’re missing out!
They don't want to be buying every jeeper a new transmission every 10k miles. That wouldn't be too smart.
@@M4sterT3ch …Funny thing , all the Jeeps I have owned and never had to put a transmission in any of them .
@toledojeeper I'm sure you weren't tugging semis either. I can assure you the engineers did not have tugging tractor trailers with your Lil old wrangler on their list when designing the vehicle. I'm a master tech and have changed many transmissions in jeeps. JEEP, Just Empty Every Pocket.
@@M4sterT3ch ..Lol .. I very much doubt that .
@@M4sterT3ch ..You commented that ever Jeeper gets a new transmission at every 10000 miles and yet I have a XJ with over 275000 miles and transmission is fine.
I had a TJ with over 180000 miles and no transmission problems.
I had a YJ with over 160000 miles and no trans problems.
I have had a total of 12 Jeeps and no trans problems .
And while I take care of my vehicles most of those Jeeps were beat up when I bought them used .
The Jeep Club is Awesome, They Also Feed & Clothes The Homeless!!! May They Forever Blessed & Prosperous!!❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️
Awesome people.. awesome work 👍
Great ad for Jeeps👍
It’s a Texas Thing helping each other 👊👊👊

what nice people, thanks jeep club!!
That's why I love my 4×4 !
Am home for two day now and no food or drinks here at home. But I want to say Thank you to young men and women from the Jeep club for landing hands .🙏🙏🙏🙏👍👍👍👍👍
This is Texas. Being a good Samaritan is part of who and what we are.
And have road rage driving mad max
How nice to see Good Samaritans at work. Thank you!
Most of the roads were prepped with brine solution, as is done in other places, but the nature of TX ice storms makes that process less effective than anyone can imagine. Salt, plows and other typical snow removal equipment is also mostly ineffective in ice - and very costly to having sitting around unused for 50 weeks out of the year.
The situation begs the question, were the trucks not equipped with chains? They are required in many other states for slick, snowy roads. Yes, they are a pain to put on, heavy and a little pricey. But a little preparation goes a long way - on both sides of the road.
I worked nights, delivering newspapers in every kind of weather, 365 days a year for 30 years - in TX. Always had a set of chains in the trunk, for whatever vehicle I was in.
thanks for comment but no disrespect but Texas does have not the resource for snow removal ect like state of north I been in Texas for about 24 years now and this weather is typical for Texas unfortunately i live in central Texas and the roads do not get that bad but not like up in Dallas and other areas. generally we will get a cold snap as I call it last about 2-3 days and then it is over with
Pretty sure chains are illegal in Texas
@@eddy3080while they are not permitted to limit damage to the roadways, the use of chains is allowed when conditions may cause vehicle to skid.
Sec. 547.612. RESTRICTIONS ON USE AND SALE OF TIRES.
Section C (2) :
"(2) is a tire chain of reasonable proportion that is used as required for safety because of a condition that might cause the vehicle to skid."
@@eddy3080 incorrect and mis-informed
There's parts of PA where that wouldn't be enough snow to send out the salt trucks. That said, it's good to see people helping people. That is the way it is supposed to work.
Exactly. Same in Minnesota.
It’s not snow that’s the problem. It’s ice
That's not snow... it's ICE. Only takes 0.01 of an inch to cause this.
It's just THE NATURAL AMERICAN 🇺🇸

It's ice, genius! Anyone can drive on snow. You can't drive on ice. Especially when it's inches thick.
As a fellow Texan, I'm proud to see us banding together to help each other. Black, white, Mexican we allcare for each other and I'm so glad the media showed this. :)
they do it every time when the roads are icy god bless them people

Stay safe out there yall i was driveing this morning and my semi trailer started slideing to the left when i was parked drive slow if u have to be out there
Great story!
That's Awesome Go Jeep Club!
Finally some feel good news on the air waves after all of the latest disasters
Drivers should carry cat litter to help get traction & airing down tires will help also. I drove semi also
Yes its recommended during winter storms like carrying snacks and water in case you're stranded. Not sure why ppl don't invest in chain. My husband says because it's a hassle and he is a very safe driver he knows his tricks to , trucker for 18yrs but in times like these it will help out tons.
@Maria Mail if it requires a chain I won't be in road.
Awesome job everyone ❤
That is some Jeep free PR, good job y'all.
408 would have been the last road I would have tried. No way to go up that steep hill going to 20 from 408
Shout out to the Jeep Clubs that helped people out. I personally was out and about and got to witness them helping motorist and truckers. And no I did not see any of them ask for money!
Thank you Jeep club your awesome 👍🏻👍🏻💪
Thank God for the Jeepers
Ice storms are the worst. Granted, ice coatings can make things look pretty, especially when the sun comes out, but they are very dangerous.
Many years ago I was coming home on a public bus in a snow storm. The bus made numerous attempts to get up a long steep hill. At one point we made it partway up and then the bus slid backwards down the hill and at a bit of an angle, so we ended up in the oncoming lane. Scary! Once we got to the top of the ridge it took a while to cross the road there, as cross traffic was reluctant to let traffic from our road through. Then it took hours--yes, hours to cross the top of the ridge to the next cross street. That is a busier cross street, so none of the cross traffic was letting people from our street through. That was pretty scary because that's where the ridge dropped down again, in another long steep hill. Both of those cross street intersections had traffic lights, but nobody was paying attention to them. We finally did make it across and down. When I got off the bus downtown in my town I had to hike home through several inches of snow in my sneakers and got home after 7pm. Earlier that day, when I caught an outbound bus at about 1:30pm there wasn't any snow on the ground, and only a little light snow in the forecast. It started snowing a little right around when the bus came. It started getting bad after we passed through a big nearby town. Some of the other passengers started getting off to catch busses going the other way. I finally did the same thing, and if I had waited any longer I wouldn't have made it home that night.
In early 2005 the northeast bad a series of snow and sleet storms. The weight of the snow and ice on the trees caused trees and branches to break by the millions. That caused regional power outages. Where we were living the past wer was out for 5 & ½ days. We lost a few trees, and a giant tree limb, weighed down by the super thick ice, was in danger of breaking my bedroom window and becoming my roommate.
Ice and snow look pretty, but they are very dangerous. If you can, stay home when the weather is really bad. Right now it's very cold outside, which is also dangerous. Either bundle up if you must go out, or better still, stay home.🌬️🌨️☃️
Texas takes care of Texas 🤠
As someone who is from Texas and has moved to the Midwest, I can confidently say that Texas is NOT well prepared for conditions like these. The Midwest doesn’t play around when it snows. Texas needs to up their game and get better resources for situations like this to keep everyone safe.

Good to see them out there helping out. But as a truck driver it sickens me to see soo many "truck drivers" allowing themselves to be stuck in a situation like this. Poor planning and lack of action. No real truck driver would be sitting there helpless like that.

@@tankiadam4967 I understand that. But there is no way that all of those trucks are from Texas. Even if they are, they need to be prepared for anything.
