I was 11 when 9/11 happened. Dave talking about coming to terms with the fact that we're not going back to pre-2020 times made me realize something. I never even considered that we might. I think seeing the world change at such a young age sort of normalized it for me. 9/11 happened and there was no going back. I've never even thought about entertaining the possibility that maybe covid would be different. Not saying I'm so smart, the thought just never entered my head. Maybe I'm just a cynic (I am), anyone else feel this way?

Hey Dave Smith, how do you justify being associated with the LP? I've been a lifetime voter and member of the party, but it's gotten basically impossible to justify supporting this party, at all. Who in the absolute fuck is chase Oliver and why in tf is he even considered as a nominee for the LP? Concerns from a fellow libertarian that is increasingly becoming a republican because our party is an absolute joke.
It was very noble for Dave to fall on his sword and take full responsibility for the cock up nomination at the convention. Dave you are being far to hard on yourself but thanks for the humility. Hate to say it but I'm voting for Trump this year. I can't get behind the libertarian party this year after watching the crap show convention and the woke presidential candidate Chase Olliver. I'll vote libertarian in all the local elections but the libertarian party needs to get rid of the overweight fat guys and blue haired delegates in the leadership positions.
