That water jump is a big drop
it's amazing how these riders just recover and circle back as if they're simply in a lesson, really admirable..though some of the riders are pretty hard on their horses, the tugging on the reins..

So many riders are doing a horrible performance... poor horses, it is unbelievable how many of them jump so nice, when being ridden like that
Anka B they are 4* event riders they are amazing at their job just cos you ride a riding school horse that you’ve never jumped doesn’t mean your better in any way the riders here are great

@@taylalouise7521 You don't have to be a mechanic to know that your car isn't running right, you don't have to be an ARA to know that your neighbor's dog is starving to death, and you don't have to be able to walk a beam to know when one gymnastics performance is better than another's. Also, she never claimed to be better than any of them, now, did she? It's a sad state of affairs when identity politics makes its way into all walks of life, including eventing.
i wouldnt say "so many" of them, but yea i agree. like, half of these people are and it sucks. some people couldnt even give their horse a pat after clearing a jump.
@@taylalouise7521 most weren't even showing their horses where the next jump was and a lot of rough hand work was done, most of them can't ride for shit.
It hurts seeing some of these riders kicking their horses and being so harsh with the reins... I mean why do you need a horse to make such jumps? Is this necessary? Yes there are many horses and riders who do a great job and are a great team, but some of the others are just terrible to watch!

There's always a lot of falls at Badminton and Burghley.
Wow..one rider couldn’t get her horse to stop…so of course pulling straight back on the reins will do it..Geezus…such poor riding for this level.
The usual pathetic show of rich pratts trying to satisfy their ego exploiting horses, bad riders too!
