Great video I am just wondering which process i can do with this heat press 🙈 since i am only doing dtf and apparently is not perfect
This heatpress will work on bags, canopy, and koozies. If you do promotional shirts that are one time wear or don't need to last along time, you might be able to get away with it. Other than that, it just doesn't have enough pressure for long lasting durability.

Its a bit tight because this machine doesn't have good clearance. Did you try to place the hoodie sideways?
Have you tried using a thick silicone heat pad to increase pressure instead of the pad the press came with? I'm only asking cuz I'm looking to get that heat press myself for small events and was wondering if this would work
Yes, I've added up to 2 layers of heat press silicone pad. It helps but I'm still not seeing the press lines afterwards. I really tried to make this one work but it just lacks the ability to adjust the pressure.

We loved this press when we first received it in January 2023. We only use it moderately (less than 6 items pressed per use per month). Now it is August 2023 and it will not close. It heats up perfectly but when we try to press it closes and pops right back open and the controls start blinking. It has also started making a grinding noise. I contacted warranty support as the press is under warranty, they responded requesting videos of the problems, we emailed videos back, they responded with they couldn't open the videos (they are too stupid to download them and use a player to view them), we uploaded the videos to our you tube channel (cause everyone has one of those) and sent them the links....There response was to give them significant time to troubleshoot the problem and they would get back to me. I’m sure enough time for my warranty to expire. I asked them point blank to honor their warranty and replace the press…Crickets!!!! Others here have complained about these same issues in the reviews. THEY WILL NOT HONOR THEIR WARRANTY!!! I'll update this review if something changes.
I'm sorry to hear about your experiences so far! That is not good customer service. Please keep us posted on what they end up doing, they should honor the warranty! Our only complaint so far with this press is the pressure wasn't enough for good DTF Presses. It will stick but overtime the transfers did not have enough pressure.
Hello Friend, why do some printers comment that this plate does not have enough pressure to adhere DTF or textile vinyl? what do you think? Is the pressure of the iron enough to adhere these materials and not come off when washed? I need to buy an iron of that type. Thank you Greetings from MX.
It won't come off but if you don't use enough pressure, it prematurely wrinkles after some washes. Here's a video ruclips.net/video/oyj0As0Bz6Q/видео.html
Does anyone know how to clean the heat plate? I accidentally used the wrong material and some got melted on there.
Try alcohol. What did you get melted on the other side?
That's one thing I didn't like about this design, and looks like the platen could come out a bit farther

We’ve put this machine away for now. It lacks pressure and we haven’t been able to find a way to really increase it.
What is thr clearance without the pad
We don't have the press anymore. It's about 2-3". Not a lot of clearance.

That meter isn't extremely accurate on reflective metal surfaces. Especially if that's not a reputable brand meter.
its not 100% accurate but will give a general idea of the heat ranges. The main issue we saw with this press is the pressure wasn't enough.
