And most YT channels promote it for their own benefit. I glad I found this review will stay away from this garbage.
Its probably a good press for vinyl but for DTF, it requires more pressure. They did release a manual press which is great for DTF> ruclips.net/video/lA6YUqowIgQ/видео.html
Great review…TY….I too was thinking about buying this brand for recreational use and also upon reading the reviews here it’s seems to be working for the people that already have it….
Hi! Im using HTVRONT since 2 months, it works vry well, but 1st hing to do is to get rid of stock "pillow". It's really bad quality, it had wrinkles after only like 50x usage. Replace it with some silicone pillow or else. I found also very usefull to buy differnt sizes soft vinyl pillow. By that i can have more pressure in the place i want (when applying small print etc.). The truth is that more pressure or adjustable would be usefull. Im pressing DTF twice in order to press the print into material even more.
The transfer usually transfers fine onto the garment but the wash results is usually when we see shrinkage and premature wrinkling. Have you checked your washed garments recently?
@@TheRagdollKitty You have to experiment with temperatures. I did like 20 same prints on material, washed them several times and turned out that I have to use higher temperature then my printer of dtfs is suggesting. I'm currently using 160°C. First press 12 sec, second press after peel 8 sec. I think it depends on dtf powder, foil, printer used etc also
So you took your pad off what pads are you using? Because I just recently bought a silicone replacement pad I listed it above because I know some other people who have one and they were also having trouble with the pressure for the HTF puff and DTF so that’s exactly what they did and said that it helped them but I am definitely open to more suggestions because you don’t want 50 heatpress machines for each different type of craft you are doing
We've tried a thicker pad and its just not enough pressure. You may not notice this right away but once you wash the garment, you can tell the transfer is not completely flattened and will prematurely wrinkle.
6 mins to reach 300 is actually pretty good. my 16x20 transpro clamshell press takes about 15-18 mins to reach 300 while my older Tusy 15x15 took about 8 mins to reach 300.
Yes 6mins is pretty good. Firing up fast isn't always the best case. My geoknight takes 10mins to heat up to 300f but the heat is very stable and doesn't fluctuate as much as these budget presses.
@@transfersuperstars i totally agree about the even heating part, just saying that i thought the heating speed was good. but if its not even, then it defeats the purpose.
Is there any chance you could review the Transpro +Plus Semi Auto Heat Press from Pro World please. Your able to thread shirts, change from manual to auto with flip of fob and has pressure number settings. You can also change the platen to different size plates. There's more but I really would like to hear what you think for a price of $1200
We don't have access to that heat press. But if I was spending over $1k, I would get our Heatmaster Prisma. www.transfersuperstars.com/products/heatmaster-prisma-pro-auto-open-dtf-heat-press-machine-16x20
A very thorough review. Thank you for that. -------I have this press, and I'm a little underwhelmed with it, But I have a question. You have it set at 7 seconds. What would happen if you increase the time, say to 20 seconds. Would that help with the adhesion or damage it? Also, I wonder if you could get inside and crank up the pressure.
I also have the same heat press I use dtf transfers and they turn out great, away around the pressure is to put another heat press mat on top of the original one already on there… I wouldn’t recommend taking it apart but that might also work?
The increased pressed time will not make a difference in the outcome if the heat press doesn't have enough pressure. Once you wash the garment, you will see some shrinkage in the transfer from the garment shrinking. This wouldn't be an issue if the press had enough pressure. There's currently no way to increase the pressure on this machine.
We've tried layering on an extra silicone mat but it did not help with pressure. It looks great at first press but we see premature wrinkling after the wash. We haven't found a way to increase the pressure.
We tried adding a heatpress pad, even 2. We even tried the heat pillow but it just doesn't clamp hard enough to see the embedded lines from a strong press.
We've tried a thicker pad and its just not enough pressure. You may not notice this right away but once you wash the garment, you can tell the transfer is not completely flattened and will prematurely wrinkle.
Here's a video where we test out the best budget presses. Keep in mind these are budget presses. We do have better ones that we recommend if you are looking to invest more. ruclips.net/video/ncgqTmAVN3k/видео.html
Yes you can compensate for the heat by increasing the temperature however the main thing this press lack is the ability to adjust the pressure. Once you wash a 100% cotton tee, it will shrink. If you did not use enough pressure, the dtf transfer will prematurely wrinkle.
Hi @rabinawal5375, thanks for the suggestion! A comparison between the HTVRont Auto and the Sunpress Aito sounds like a fantastic idea. I’ll look into testing the Sunpress Aito soon and provide a detailed comparison, especially focusing on the pressure adjustments. Stay tuned for that video!

There's no reason I wouldn't want to promote this press but it doesn't create long lasting tees.. Working with DTF doesn't mean it just applies and comes off your film, it has to last through the wash test many times. I just haven't seen that done with these automatic presses. @@transfersuperstars Agreed. I had a MAJOR problem once I switched to the HTVront and had to replace a lot of shirts because they cracked or wrinkled after one wash.
