Great tips, thank you for sharing them!
Here are two of my own tips:
    1. I have insulated our hot water pipes as our caravan has the hot water heater in the front of our van and the ensuite with the shower is at the back of the van. Without the insulation, the hot water was cooling before reaching the shower; with the insulation we never run out of hot water while showering.
    2. I have attached long pvc pipes, (diameter just a little larger than the sullage pipe), with removable end caps to the frame under the caravan. My sullage pipes are cut into 3 lengths with joiner fittings and are stored inside the pvc pipes under the caravan. This avoids any spillage of sullage water in the caravan boot after they have been used. Having them in 3 sections means that instead of using a very long sullage pipe every time you camp, you use only the length that you need in order to reach the drain in your campsite.

Good video. Yes, I am disappointed that many off-road caravans have exposed pipes. I know of cases where pipes were damaged even on a sealed road. I wouldn't recommend in-door carpet as it gets wet and rots. Pool noodles are very popular to cover pipes.

I like the idea of getting the hoses out of a hatch/boot area. I’ve tried a few things to remove the smell from the grey water hose, having it in the air would be better. I imagine having them in the sun would cause them to deteriorate faster, if they don’t get stolen.

When I bought my second hand Evernew the previous owner had installed an irrigation pipe larger in diameter that the grey water pipe the full length of the van from rear to tow hitch along the inside of the vans frame. This gives me just under 10mtrs of hose pushed inside this pipe stored under the van with no issue of smell in the storage area - great idea. We push the slightly longer grey pipe in which with its corrugations allows a bit of spring and then simply push a bolt through wholes in the top and bottom of the irrigation pipe to hold it in place. The push back from the grey pipe keeps the bolt from rattling out.

Thanks for the tips! Re the off side track for shade, what are people tips for attaching the shade to the track? It looks to me like we'll need a ladder in order to reach and thread the track.

Very good question! When I have done it in the past, I've just used a step ladder, or sometimes stood on the Esky... surely there must be a better way 🤔
