The old hymns remind me of sad things: racial prejudice, misogyny, hypocrisy, and funerals, not to mention trump worship. Give me contemporary any time!!’

I remember, many years ago at a Reunion of the Cathedrals, the late George Younce introduced Gerald to the audience with these words: "He's a little man, but a giant!" and with this "Gospel Hymn Sing series Gerald has performed another gigantic work that blessed/blesses probably hundreds of thousands of Christians around the globe. Thank you, brother!!
