You guys are behind on nutrition if you’re saying saturated fats are to be avoided, along with red meat. It’s written in the literature (pubmed) that saturated fats were made out to be villainous by the sugar company (scandal postings 2016-2018). 3 professors were paid off by the sugar company to fudge information to make it look like saturated fats are bad. Saturated fats are essential to the body. On the topic of red meat, that it’s correlated to heart disease was PURELY based on surveys (yeah, that's not science, it's very weak and flawed) that were conducted on people saying they ate a lot of red meat. However, the question is, were they eating the red meat with processed carbs like a burger bun, a hotdog bun, or a side of fries or baked potato covered in processed or sugary condiments? I have a doctorate in nutritional science and keep up to date with newer more updated information. Fat (aside from seed and vegetable oils) is not bad, but if it’s eaten with high carbs (that has hardly any fiber in it), then that’s a recipe for a one way ticket to heart attack heaven. It’s not the red meat itself that is bad, not the saturated fat that’s bad, it’s actually the carbs (any and all grains as they are processed and have been modified, but are not natural to our biology)! Please follow up with actual clinical double blinded trials., not old information based on a survey. You had me up until that part, couldn’t listen anymore.
Bravo! Wise-words, well spoken.
