    Hi, if you want to dsable the "assistive touch menu":
    You can disable "always show menu" within the assistive touch menu. By activating this, the assistive touch menu will disappear while your mouse is connected.

    • @Gleeleeglee
      @Gleeleeglee 4 года назад

      True but if I want to use HOT CORNERS, Dwell needs to be enabled and that puts “assistive touch menu” back onto the screen unfortunately 🙁

    • @deuxani
      @deuxani 4 года назад +1

      Gary L You can then again turn it off. I have dwell control on and no assistive touch button showing. Also, the automatic clicking of the dwell control can be turned off by setting the fallback option to pause and the tolerance to minimum.

    I wish all the mouse controls would be usable independent of Assistive Touch. If I connect a mouse, my iPad detects that and should be able to know what I want to do when I click different buttons on my mouse 🙃

      I agree!!!! Really hope this comes to the mouse support. Not sure why they kept the trackpad support for the swiping but didnt put in the two finger swipe for mouse. Also would like a quick way to get back to the home screen and/or app switcher with out having to go down to the home bar at the bottom and clicking.

    Just purchased a Magic Mouse 2 to get ready for 13.4. A new magic keyboard seems excessing and I will miss not being able to fold the case completely behind the iPad. I wish they could have found a way to make that possible, but I understand the engineering challenges there.

  • @mklives2

    I just upgraded to iOS 13.4, and now even with tracking speed at maximum, the mouse cursor only moves a small amount with a small (or slow) move of the mouse, whereas before it moved a large amount with a small (slow) move of the mouse. While a large (fast) move of the mouse (rapid and large move of my wrist) results in a large move of the cursor, I expect this is going to cause wrist pain over time. This is a bit disappointing. Wonder if there is any way to change this.

    When I open Assistive Touch it changes a lot :/ It makes the pointer bigger and I cannot use scroll wheel. Also when Assistive Touch is off I cannot scroll by holding the left click. Up or down / left or right. I cannot slide. When I open Assistive Touch I can slide the screen by holding the left click. However I cannot use scroll wheel anymore. I couldn't find the issue. On the video when he opens assistive touch nothing is changing. When I do it the cursor gets bigger and changes a lot.

    This was missing “Tricks”. :/. You need to understand “Tricks” are not readily avail features. The new iPad is plagued with bugs and issues when using an external mouse and keyboard. It thinks my mouse is a keyboard and it forces that setting. sigh..so many issues.. who do they hire to develop so few new things which are plagued by bugs ? :/
    Contemplating returning this.. .. but please stop calling “features” as “tricks”.
