thanks Brian, best way anyone could explain it according to scripture. Hey, my mom and dad ( both christians) died 25 years ago and i often wonder if they are ( like the story os lazeras and the begger) up in heaven looking down on me and either worrying or proud? sounds like a nutty question but i sometimes wonder about this. In some ways i hopw not since if they keep an eye on me still to this day, then i am in for another licken being i like paul am not always the best boy i can be...... ps. i do miss them greatly everyday and ask God to look after them

The verse used to support the rapture makes it crystal clear that this event will happen at the Second Coming. The resurrection of ALL the dead of both the just and the unjust will precede the Last Judgement

Pastor Brian, GOD is good and will lead us to wonderful teachers. I have been sharing your channel with others like me looking for good teachers. May I please ask you to place you Church up to Rock Harbor Church Bakersfield, to be placed on their Church tracker, so many looking for a Church across the country. Pastor Brandon Holthaus is a wonderful teacher and not afraid of current events. Hopefully I will make it up to your Church this spring. Praying for you and your family.

Thanks. I also believe that there will be some Godly people who will die at ages like 700, 800, etc during the Millennial kingdom. They should be raised after that time and get their glorified bodies and join us who were raised earlier or raptured at the time of the rapture or later with the resurrection of the Tribulation saints who died then and possibly OT saints.

Believers are raised in the twinkling of an eye. Also, the unbelievers are raised at the same time, and judged. Jn5:28-29. The sheep and goats Mt25:32-33. At the same time. We shall ALL stand before God 2Cor5:10/ Rev20:12. ONE judgment DAY. Act17:31. And ONE resurrection. Act24:15. All this happens just like Jesus said it would on the LAST DAY. Jn6:39-40,44,54. And Jn12:48. NO 7 year tribulation. NO literal 1000 year kingdom in our future. And NO one left behind. To God be the Glory.

That was a bit confusing? A person who died in Christ in the year 1800 will get to heaven at the same time a person who died in 2023. The raptured person will get there at the same time also...whatever "time" really is there.

Their Spirit and soul are in Heaven, waiting to be raised in their body. They rise in their body and we (who are alive and remain) are caught up with them.

Hi Roger, actually those who died in Christ are in heaven now. They will receive their glorified bodies first (1 Cor. 15:50-28) along with us who are alive and remain

On earth, they don't necessarily get incorruptible bodies like the Body of Christ Church does. They get the tree of life and rivers of living waters. We rule over the Angels (1 Corinthians 6:3), but on earth, they are equal to the Angels (Luke 20:36).
We are eternally in the Heavens (2 Corinthians 5:1), and seated with Christ in Heavenly places (Ephesians 2:6) far above all principalities and powers and mights and dominions (Ephesians 1:21-23)

1Co 15:52 In a moment, in the twinkling of an eye, at the last trump: for the trumpet shall sound, and the dead shall be raised incorruptible, and we shall be changed.
1Co 15:53 For this corruptible must put on incorruption, and this mortal must put on immortality.
1Co 15:54 So when this corruptible shall have put on incorruption, and this mortal shall have put on immortality, then shall be brought to pass the saying that is written, Death is swallowed up in victory.
1Co 15:55 O death, where is thy sting? O grave, where is thy victory?
1Co 15:56 The sting of death is sin; and the strength of sin is the law.
1Co 15:57 But thanks be to God, which giveth us the victory through our Lord Jesus Christ.
Paul gives us some details associated with our rapture that will help us identify the timeline with certainty using scripture to interpret scripture. We see something called the last trumpet sound and then the dead in Christ rise. So looks like a resurrection with a trumpet blast announcing it in 1Co 15:52.
The first thing that comes to mind are the 7 trumpet judgments that we see in the book of Revelation. If that 7th trumpet is the last trumpet spoken of, then we should see a resurrection associated with it.
Rev 11:15 And the seventh angel sounded; and there were great voices in heaven, saying, The kingdoms of this world are become the kingdoms of our Lord, and of his Christ; and he shall reign for ever and ever.
Rev 11:16 And the four and twenty elders, which sat before God on their seats, fell upon their faces, and worshipped God,
Rev 11:17 Saying, We give thee thanks, O Lord God Almighty, which art, and wast, and art to come; because thou hast taken to thee thy great power, and hast reigned.
Rev 11:18 And the nations were angry, and thy wrath is come, and the time of the dead, that they should be judged, and that thou shouldest give reward unto thy servants the prophets, and to the saints, and them that fear thy name, small and great; and shouldest destroy them which destroy the earth.
Sure enough we see "the time of the dead....reward given to the prophets, saints, and all that fear His name". There is the resurrection we are looking for. Could be coincidence so let's se if we can find further connections.
1Co 15:54 So when this corruptible shall have put on incorruption, and this mortal shall have put on immortality, then shall be brought to pass the saying that is written, Death is swallowed up in victory.
It is written that Death is swallowed up in victory.
Isa 25:8 He will swallow up death in victory; and the Lord GOD will wipe away tears from off all faces; and the rebuke of his people shall he take away from off all the earth: for the LORD hath spoken it.
Isa 25:9 And it shall be said in that day, Lo, this is our God; we have waited for him, and he will save us: this is the LORD; we have waited for him, we will be glad and rejoice in his salvation.
Here is where it is written and refers to people rejoicing in His salvation. That has to be the end when Israel returns to God which sets the timing for "death victory" as the end of the last 7 years. Still not convinced we are speaking of the same events?
1Co 15:24 Then cometh the end, when he shall have delivered up the kingdom to God, even the Father; when he shall have put down all rule and all authority and power.
1Co 15:25 For he must reign, till he hath put all enemies under his feet.
1Co 15:26 The last enemy that shall be destroyed is death.
This is when Jesus delivers the kingdom to the Father which happens after the 7 years have ended when He puts all enemies under His feet. When is death defeated before or after the last 7 years? We can tie the wiping of tears and drinking from the fountains of waters from Isaiah 25 to Rev 7 and Rev 21. It all points to the rapture as seen in 1Co 15 occurring at the end of the last 7 years. It all ties together perfectly from a post-trib perspective.
    Peace,
    PTT

Paul explains it in his teachings You have to understand there is only one thing that is Immortal and Incorruptable The Word ( Laws ) of God
1Pe_1:23 Being born again, not of corruptible seed, but of incorruptible, by the word of God, which liveth and abideth for ever.
      ( BEING ) born again It's a process
We pick up our cross and die daily The Word ( Laws ) of God are the nails we use to nail ourselves to that cross
Paul didn't say Jesus was coming back and change us
Paul said this Mortal ( shall PUT ON ) Immortality It's the same as when we ( PUT ON ) the whole armor of God
Mortal is your carnal mind Immortality is your spiritual mind The incorruptible seed ( Word of God ) is what we use to change from Mortal to Immortal
Our physical bodies will NEVER BECOME IMMORTAL
Gen 3:19 In the sweat of thy face shalt thou eat bread, till thou return unto the ground; for out of it wast thou taken: for dust thou art, and unto dust shalt thou return.
1 Cor 15 does not tell us that our physical bodies will become Immortal Our Spiritual Man puts on Immortality
Hear me out don't blow up on me
      Think about the Rapture teaching
      People tell us
The Dead people will rise from the graves then we which are alive and remain shall be caught up to be with them in the air in the clouds
And Planes and trains and cars and eveything else will suddenly crash and kill billions of people because the Christians have all of a sudden vanished and all these dead bodies will be laying in the streets and everywhere else all over the world
And we will go to Heaven where we will have a wedding and be married to Jesus and celebrate a great wedding feast
And Jesus is going to bring us right back down here to earth among all that death and chaos and confusion buildings collapesed and a lot of pissed off people
Where we are going to rule and reign with Christ for 1000 years
      Now let me ask you
Do you see that teaching ANYWHERE in the Word of God ??

"The Dead people will rise from the graves then we which are alive and remain shall be caught up to be with them in the air in the clouds
And Planes and trains and cars and eveything else will suddenly crash and kill billions of people because the Christians have all of a sudden vanished and all these dead bodies will be laying in the streets and everywhere else all over the world"
That's false teaching and why I try hard to correct pre-tribbers in the error of their ways.
"And we will go to Heaven where we will have a wedding and be married to Jesus and celebrate a great wedding feast"
Rev 19:6 And I heard as it were the voice of a great multitude, and as the voice of many waters, and as the voice of mighty thunderings, saying, Alleluia: for the Lord God omnipotent reigneth.
Rev 19:7 Let us be glad and rejoice, and give honour to him: for the marriage of the Lamb is come, and his wife hath made herself ready.
Rev 19:8 And to her was granted that she should be arrayed in fine linen, clean and white: for the fine linen is the righteousness of saints.
Rev 19:9 And he saith unto me, Write, Blessed are they which are called unto the marriage supper of the Lamb. And he saith unto me, These are the true sayings of God.
That's because they do not understand when the marriage supper of the Lamb is. See it is just before the battle of Armageddon in Rev 19. We join the Lord in the air after the dead in Christ rise and accompany Him to the battle of Armageddon and rule/reign with Him forever after.
Rev 19:14 And the armies which were in heaven followed him upon white horses, clothed in fine linen, white and clean.
We are part of the armies in heaven that follow Him to the battle of Armageddon where He single handedly defeats the ungodly assembled before Him.
Jud 1:14 And Enoch also, the seventh from Adam, prophesied of these, saying, Behold, the Lord cometh with ten thousands of his saints,
Jud 1:15 To execute judgment upon all, and to convince all that are ungodly among them of all their ungodly deeds which they have ungodly committed, and of all their hard speeches which ungodly sinners have spoken against him.
      Jude talks about it here.
2Th 1:7 And to you who are troubled rest with us, when the Lord Jesus shall be revealed from heaven with his mighty angels,
2Th 1:8 In flaming fire taking vengeance on them that know not God, and that obey not the gospel of our Lord Jesus Christ:
Paul also speaks of it briefly here.
2Pe 3:9 The Lord is not slack concerning his promise, as some men count slackness; but is longsuffering to us-ward, not willing that any should perish, but that all should come to repentance.
2Pe 3:10 But the day of the Lord will come as a thief in the night; in the which the heavens shall pass away with a great noise, and the elements shall melt with fervent heat, the earth also and the works that are therein shall be burned up.
Peter shows us that the promise of His coming is also what we know as the day of the Lord when Jesus torches the ungodly (at Armageddon).
1Th 4:17 Then we which are alive and remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds, to meet the Lord in the air: and so shall we ever be with the Lord.
1Th 4:18 Wherefore comfort one another with these words.
1Th 5:1 But of the times and the seasons, brethren, ye have no need that I write unto you.
1Th 5:2 For yourselves know perfectly that the day of the Lord so cometh as a thief in the night.
Paul verifies that the rapture is also the day of the Lord and it arrives as a thief in the night.
Rev 16:15 Behold, I come as a thief. Blessed is he that watcheth, and keepeth his garments, lest he walk naked, and they see his shame.
Rev 16:16 And he gathered them together into a place called in the Hebrew tongue Armageddon.
Which ties directly back to the battle of Armageddon when we meet the Lord in the air on the way to the battle of Armageddon.
      Peace,

Another false teaching because they do not understand when the marriage supper of the Lamb is.

Here we see the marriage supper of the Lamb just before the battle of Armageddon in Rev 19:11-21.
Rev 19:14 And the armies which were in heaven followed him upon white horses, clothed in fine linen, white and clean.
The dead in Christ rise first then we who remain and are alive join them in the air as part of the armies of heaven that followed Jesus.
Jude speaks of it here. When does God execute judgment on the ungodly? At the battle of Armageddon.
2Th 1:7 And to you who are troubled rest with us, when the Lord Jesus shall be revealed from heaven with his mighty angels,
2Th 1:8 In flaming fire taking vengeance on them that know not God, and that obey not the gospel of our Lord Jesus Christ:
Paul speaks of it here also briefly. When Jesus is revealed from heaven with His mighty angels it is in flaming fire taking vengeance on those that don't know God or obey the gospel of Jesus. This again happens at the battle of Armageddon.
Peter shows us that the promise of His return is also known as the day of the Lord when the very elements on earth will melt with fervent heat also with the earth and its works burnt up. Notice the reference to a thief in the night as well.
1Th 4:17 Then we which are alive and remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds, to meet the Lord in the air: and so shall we ever be with the Lord.
1Th 4:18 Wherefore comfort one another with these words.

1Th 5:2 For yourselves know perfectly that the day of the Lord so cometh as a thief in the night.
Paul also shows us that the rapture is known as the day of the Lord when Jesus returns as a thief.
Rev 16:15 Behold, I come as a thief. Blessed is he that watcheth, and keepeth his garments, lest he walk naked, and they see his shame.
Rev 16:16 And he gathered them together into a place called in the Hebrew tongue Armageddon.
Here we see Jesus returning as a thief just before the battle of Armageddon tying it all together in a nice neat little circle.

You’re wrong straight out the gate but it’s okay because there’s time for correction. “Our earthly house, this tabernacle” which Paul spoke of is not the human body believing that it is will cause you to distort and twist many other scriptures, like causing Christians to believe their individual bodies are the temple of the Holy Spirit, these are not things taught in the Bible these are inferences made by men which a complete untrue.
