Now that i think about it I think it was the superhumans show the History channel used to show for awhile. Anyway, through meditative focus, while scientists thought this was just a placebo type deal, they did a study that showed that some individuals, through pure force of will and meditivative insight, that some individuals are capable of doing what Bando did. In particular the bending of the spine is the easier part, but the organs are able to flinch in such a way that technically would allow this, if he was practiced enough.

Hanafusa is definitely one of my favourite characters, even if others find him to be somewhat odd, I still think he is an amazingly written character and I feel like other manga readers love him especially for what he did. Also, they set up a coup d'etat at Purgatory, so there was no strategic use in keepin Naidan alive. 2. Naidans wound was very deep, he has been bleeding out within under a minute. Hanafusa couldn't have done shit since a long time probably.

Despite everything. These two are actual medical practitioners. Went to med school and got their degrees. Bandos was stripped away bc of him being a killer and Hanafusa is a certified doctor. Side note: his nurse is, despite her attire, is a certified nurse, she just loves to cosplay.

In a story full of fairly realistic to kinda fantastical fights one stood out the most as truly a "anime" fight if that makes sense loved the series overall but this fight stuck with me for that reason lol
