My favorite clothing essential would be a pair of Chaco sandals. They have good arch support, and they're also great to wear after a long hike.

Chacos are great! I owned a pair for many years. Thanks for the tip 🙂

I like duffel bag for roadtrip. My current favorite travel bag is Nomad Lane Bento bag. I love it because it has a lot of compartments, a trolley sleeve and it is small enough to fit under the seat. You'll love it too!

With the wool socks, I know you said they help with sweat, but do they help keep the feet from being stinky?

That's a great question! Yes, Merino wool is odor resistant.
"Merino wool has antimicrobial properties, as the natural lanolin in the sheep's wool repels odor-causing bacteria. Since merino wool manages moisture so well, there is no wet environment for that bacteria to grow."

Does capilene have any odor-resistance like wool or exoficio? Thx!

Sorry if felt like that, but no sponsored posts here. These are the clothes we genuinely love and have made hiking and outdoor activities more enjoyable for us.

Who even wears skirts these days. I can’t even remember the last time i saw some woman in a dress, except the bride and flower girl at a wedding last summer.
(I had an anthro prof that said she learned the value of long skirts, though, when traveling in areas of the world without bathrooms…)
