Hi, Wowzers!!! Nice looking car!!! My very first car was the same age as me, a 1963 Morris Cooper SS. The radio had tubes😂. It had been shipped to Canada by a gent who passed away, and his wife sold it to a guy who slolum? Raced it in the next town over, he sold it to my Dad for my 16th bday. I had to learn from my Dad about maintenance, or he wouldn't let me have it,lol, same as my dirt bike😂 My Dad had to make brake pads for it as he couldnt order any. I had a flat tire once, and 2guys lifted it up while I changed the tire,ha! Anyhoo, did you mention the towload of ur new car and how much ur caravan weighs? I got typing and now I gotta rewatch the video😅😅😅😅😅🦖🌞🌵
Thanks for watching. The car isn't too bad at towing, it can pull up to 1750kg and our caravan is only 1450kg, could do with a bit more power, but it's OK. Stay safe👍

Nice car! Reminds us of the MG GS we had in 2014, but yours is a LOT nicer. The GS couldn’t pull the skin of a custard…. Looks like Android Auto / Apple CarPlay built in? In terms of the dirt in the car, consult a calendar. If month=January then dirt = maximum! 😊

Is petrol 😂😂😂😂 , well anyone knows that.... he asked what tipe of fuel: 95. ;)
What is the manual gearbox like ? Some reviewers say it's sloppy.
Found the gearbox to be fine, quite impressed for a budget SUV. Thanks for watching

It's petrol with a turbo, but think it has a lot to live up to. First tow next week 🤞
Getting our HS in June, how did the tow bar fitting go and who did you use?
It took about 3 hours and was fitted by Southport Towbars, a small local company. They have fitted our last 3 towbars and have never had a problem with them 👍
Traveling in comfort now! Is that a manual? I don't know why more car companies do that thing with the trunk where they cover half of the open space with a false floor.
I've come to the conclusion, it's for smuggling 🤣. Thanks for watching 👍
Hi Dave could you tell me what the weight of your caravan is , as im new to this and I have purchased the same car, What are your thoughts as a tow car and do you think it could cope with a slightly heavier caravan ?. Thank you , Darren
Not sure who Dave is, but maybe Mark can help lol. My caravan has a MIRO 1281 and a MTPLM 1450KG. The MG HS pull ok but is not planted as well as our last car ,Kuga, and it can struggle on steep inclines. Been away 6 times so far without any issues and have booked Cornwall later this year without any concerns. It's not the best, but it does the job
We have exactly the same car a black MG HD Excite but ours is a dct , we now have our towbar fitted . Not yet towed our caravan , looking forward to your towing experience with the HS .What caravan do you have?
We are off to the caravan today to fit new number plate and give it a wash, if there's enough time, I might have a quick tow to see how she does. Thanks for watching 👍

Looks like a great car. I really like the style of it. And I'm glad you picked dark interior. I hate that mustard color that comes in some cars. So ugly and reminds me of baby 💩

How are you getting on with the MG
It's doing the job, but not aswell as the kuga. We have a long trip coming up, later in the year, we be interesting to see how it copes and the mpg. ATB Mark and Coral
