I was tipped off that scammers are back up and running at this call center that poses as a legitimate business during the day and scams people at night. I've been able to narrow it down to the building, floor and rooms along with who is actually in charge of this scammer call center.

My great grandma ALMOST got scammed for 10,000 dollars, but thankfully she checks everything with my dad, so she called him first and got out of the scam quickly. I am glad you are exposing them and I feel sorry for anyone who this has happened to. ⭐️

It is because of you that I managed to avoid being scammed just two weeks ago. I got the "Thank you for buying $300 of Norton Security" scam in my e-mail. I actually called in, but as soon as I heard the Indian accent, and the question; "do you have access to your computer?", I remembered your videos, and ended the call.
Thank you for helping this old man from becoming a victim.
Be warned, some actual companies hire overseas call centers to do their basic work, so just the accent isn't a direct indication of it being a scam, but weird questions and improper grammar in the email or website is very much an indication of a scam.

Truth.Tactical exactly. I’m from Germany and have slightly an accent myself though I’ve been in the states for over 20 yrs. If an employee isn’t fluent in English, I have little interest in communicating with them. Good companies only hire well spoken people anyway lol

It's so crazy how they sound almost professional but when they get mad and go off script their english starts to crumble too. Just shows how much they practice.
My parents got scammed online buying a puppy that never existed.
I tried so hard to tell them, but they were so heartbroken from the story they were being told, they sent thousands of dollars for needles, shipping costs, and for the puppy itself.
Watching these videos makes me feel like those fuckers will be caught for what they did to my folks.

@@danbambatten why don't you guys raise this issue with your govt. I as an Indian know that state govt of Bengal is highly corrupt and police comes under them. That is a state run by different party form our central government. Raise issue with central Modi government. He will crack down and solve this issue within a month. Thing is, we Indians honestly don't know such things happen and no one falls for such scams and your authorities doesn't care as far as i see it. Not that i am putting blame, but it is their responsibility too to protect you.

I had one of these scammers on the phone and I pointed out that he had a very thick Indian accent. He said he didn't. So I was wondering do these guys really think they speak perfect English?

Its good for senior citizens to be made aware of this type of fraud. So many do fall into the trap because they arent aware enough. My great grandma was victim to this once, good thing the bank was kind enough to give her money back for it but she learned not to ever trust someone like that again.

At our 911 center, we were aware of all the new scams and if elderly people called scared about texts or calls we made SURE they knew it was a scam and not to do anything. One poor woman actually called for an ambulance after she was so upset. I almost cried.
The FBI should create a department and hire this guy with his own team.

I had one repeatedly call me and tell me he was fucking my wife and start texting when I wouldn't answer because I told him to put someone who spoke English on the phone.

Rule number#1 never every buy anything on a cold call, simple as that, just hang up immediately regardless what they say. If you actually need something, then go to a store or online to buy it.

I asked him why they didn't mail me first. He said they lost the letter. He also told me he was going to send an officer over within the hour. I told him, Thank you for giving me enough time to make myself

Teach older computer users what a remote desktop program does and what they typically look like. As soon as the scammers connect they're likely loading something malicious to reconnect without you knowing.

It's OK, if you are Indian, you can pay restitution to people who have been the victim of scams. These days, any member of a group can pay for the sins of another member of their group past or present and all will be right with the world. It's really amazing! Just a caution, there is no actual end to the amount of restitution that you owe, so just prepare yourself for that before accepting your guilt.
Where ever there's a large group of people, there will be scammers. India is just one of many examples.

About a year ago, just before I retired from law enforcement after 27 years, an elderly lady reported to me she had been scammed out of $50K by this same M.O. using the Norton refund method. This video puts it all in perspective what my victim experienced. Her account to what happened was virtually just like this. I'm glad you're exposing these dirtbags. Keep the heat on!

There is an entire worldwide network of people who have been doing this for many years in secrecy. You can do it too 👍. There are websites and forums that can teach and mentor you 👍
A scammer called me from “Social security “. Unfortunately for them, they left a voicemail with a number to call them back. I did …..over 150 times in one day from multiple phones and shared the number with friends so they would too. As soon as they heard my voice they got frustrated and told me stop calling them. But of course I continued. Eventually they blocked my number so I used another phone until that was blocked, and then another phone etc… they finally shut down their number.

Deleting their files is far too gentle with these guys. I think you should take this project to the next level and really stop these people once and for all. Go for their money and id's then dox them. I would be love turning up to their offices and ID the entire office.

Was just visiting my grandfathers house today and he asked me about this Norton refund email he got I told him it’s a scam and began to tell him about Pierogi and scammer payback and how he gets revenge. I’ve never seen my 80 year old grandfather got super excited about the work Pierogi does and how he gets revenge and it was ironic watching the first few minutes of this video that shows the exact scam my grandfather was dealing with at this moment.

Scammers are like that. Nigerian scammers and even local scammers here in Malaysia are rude. I get frequent calls from them stating i owe money to tax etc. Got cheated once, and nowdays if i have time i troll them and make them angry. They use bad words threats by law inforcement etc

Im from India, and my mom in law got scammed out of almost 20000 USD. She is a retired justice, and they didn't know that. It took cops 3 months to trace them, and recover the money. All of them are in jail now, for 10odd years, without bail. Your & Jim's videos really help in educating us all. Most people in India have no clue this shit goes down under the guise of legit call centers.

When scammers call me, I act like I can't hear them over and over. Then I tell them, "if you can hear me please call me on my other number"

-Army investigators office
-escort numbers

I also have escort numbers on hand.
Gotta Love that, John Doe. ( : I mean to say, I admire your response to the thieves/scammers. A relative of mine was scammed due to a purchase through amaz on, leading to her bank account being hacked. It took her months to get her bank account straightened out.

The amount of verbal eastereggs he throws in there without notice or serious notice from the scammers is great. They are so focused on the script.

Problem is, being rude actually helps them. As the scum they are, they mostly target the elderly, and that rudeness coerce them into complying. Scammers are the lowest of the low.

I've introduced my father (he's 70) to scambaiting and your channel, and he absolutely loves it. Thankfully my parents are both more tech-savvy and aware, so I don't have to worry about them falling victim to scammers as much and they know to always be cautious.
We now watch you and other scambaiters as our father/daughter bonding, and it means a lot to be able to take some time together every week especially since we're both getting older.
Always gotta be careful though. Jim Browning fell victim to a scam not too long ago, and if that man can get scammed pretty much anyone else can.

Yes, it's easy to say that (and a lot of us are aware and know how ridiculous the set-up is), but sadly a lot of people who aren't aware of scams and whatnot don't have the ability to think critically/with common sense when they're afraid and feel guilt. In the moment when they're told "you owe X amount of money OH MY GOD it's your fault because you entered the wrong thing!" etc etc when scammers pull their BS they immediately are afraid, and sadly lose the ability to be rational. The scammers know a lot of elderly people don't know all this technical/computer jargon that we know, and they use that to their advantage because it's likely that older people have no idea that they're spewing BS and more likely to believe it all to be true. It's all disgusting emotional manipulation.

I was a victim. They are good at preying on panicked people. I thought I would never fall for a scam. It took months to recover from what the did to me. I had to close a bank account and deal with everything that goes along with that. Thank you for exposing these creeps who prey on vulnerable people.

It always amazes me that they continue to deny that they are scammers as if they can't even admit it to themselves. Keep up this honorable fight!
They probably honestly think it is a valid career. These abusive practices are rather normalized within the call center industry. Even banks take advantage of people to make money. They probably view it as stealing from the rich and have convinced themselves that we deserve it. You have to live in this messed up mental bubble to do things like that to people. That is how soldiers survive war mentally but then they cannot adjust to civilian life. When you other people, it is easier to hurt them.
They usually can't. They are usually being listened to and stuff, and even if they do, they don't make profit.
Amazes me how they get *angry* when they are exposed. Zero guilt, zero shame, they actually get angry at being exposed. That's complete evil.

I am from India and I was introduced to this scammer call center in my school time, they told me that we are just helping people you just have to call them, they gave me a script that I had to read on call. But I understood the whole game on the first day, than I recorded soke videos of those people scamming people and handed that to a police officer who was my friend's father. I got those scammers.
That's why I loved what you are doing here. Keep doing man there's a lot of scammers call center like this in here.

As an Indian, I apologise for all the pain and nonsense people in the West have to go through from scammers in India. Reading the comments, I didn't know it was so pervasive in countries like Canada and UK. Keep up your work. Don't let up. Don't feel stupid. My friend's Sister was scammed out of $4k and she isn't stupid, or absent-minded. She said that they were literally that smooth in their scam they got the money out of her. They had the nerve to call the next day asking for more money too. You made a mistake. Live, learn and move on!

Just retired with 28 years at a small county sheriff's office. I've seen so many in that time, mostly elderly, get robbed on these scams. I tune into this channel often and find great joy watching you work. God bless you sir for your continued efforts!

I know it feels good to do that, but once you respond they know your email is active and being reviewed by someone (you), so they will likely send you more.
