Some of those games, like Masters of Albion, Airborne Empire, Frostpunk, Nova Roma, Celestial Empire, Fantastic Haven, Worshippers of Cthulhu and Anvil Empire appears to be factions you would see in RTS games, like Warcraft, Armies of Exigo or Rise of Legends. Good to see this genre is still kicking!
Hollywood Animal reminds me of "The Movies." That game was so dam good. It came out 20 years ago now and it's amazing to me that it still seems the best game of this type. You could make your own movies with little sim like toons, and had to use the current tech you researched. The game started in the 20's so the first movies didn't even have sound. You hired actors, directors and crew with different personalities and skills that you had to keep happy and when they got older. If you made a movie in a certain genre, that genre would get better in the actors or directors skill tree. You could give them face lifts, lypo, boob jobs or just send them to the gym. But some of them would become alcoholics as well. Then once the movie was done you could enter it in contests on line and I do believe you won prizes. But there were thousands of movies in each of the many categories so it was really hard to win. Too bad they stopped supporting it long ago.
It would be useful if you actually add the potential release dates of these titles or at least tell us if there is no release date as of yet. More information in your video couldn't hurt
Some game picks here are highly inaccurate and shouldn't be in the list. Eg. Hollywood Animal and Star Birds are management games (the latter is more of a factory sim).
hmmm......nothing really stands out for me here except maybe anvil empires but these arent finished yet so i may change my mind as these games develop....just my opinion so others will probably like other games but will be not to impressed by anvil empires
do not buy any game on steam 90% of them are "early release" AKA you are their beta tester end AGILE MANAGEMENT bring back the quality and standards to the gaming industry
nothing interesting besides frostpunk. It's "manage you city like it's 1998, china version, chtulu version, medieval version, fantasy version, north version" ,boring.
Every single city builder game in the world ignores de fact that most of the territoy of any place populated by humans is used for crops, instead every one of them allows you to create enormous cities full of public buildings representing the poor idea the creator have of how a society works, whyle they all substain of ridiculous patches of crops.
Thank you very much for giving us a look and putting us in your video, we do appreciate it a lot.🙂
The best city building style game I played was MANOR LORD
for me that is more an empire builder ! too much focus on battles

I playd them all Warcraft 3 Armies of Exigo and Rising nations the araže all great.
So many games, so little time. I'm looking forward to Masters of Albion and Fata Deum the most. But it's hard to match Black&White 1 and 2.
I get where you are coming from. I have this same expectation on Gates of Pyre. I hope it matches that SC2 vibe.
@@RyanCaden-w4m I didn't know about that game. I knew of Stormgate, but not Gates of Pyre.
Nova Roma really remind me a game i used to play, Kingdoms & Castles
Farthest Frontier you need to look at.
Great video, subscribed the channel. Keep it up
Forgot to mention Starbird is created from Kurzgesagt and is based on thier art style
it's hard to say Kurzgesagt so i skipped that part lol
@@gamegen7745 Also hard to write so I copy pasta it
@@gamegen7745 It's also called 'In a Nutshell' :D

I play Movies hours and hours on the game. Such a nice game
@@icecredd4743 me too!
"The resource management is well balanced. So you'll have to think strategically to keep your civilization running smoothly" smh
Celestial Empire is best by far...
Celestial Empire looks like it takes a lot of cues from Anno 1800... possibly based on the same engine.
It would be useful if you actually add the potential release dates of these titles or at least tell us if there is no release date as of yet. More information in your video couldn't hurt
People wanted change in pace, so we back at city building.
Anvil Empires is sick !!!!1
very good
Worsippers of Cthulhu looks like mix between Anno series and Gord nice but i m not a fan of horor games but i bet H P Lovecraft will be so proud.
Thanks for the video- but these games aren't what I'm looking for in a City Builder - I would like a New Sim City type game.
Paradox, give us Surviving Mars 2
give me transport tycoon in nowadays graphics and I will pay a good money for it
Star birds is literally kurszgezast

Farthest Frontier is the best
Anvil empire.......like it
How about manor lords?
It's already out and thus, not upcomming
Music's too high. Can't focus on the voice.

First one looks like a fake add for one of those shitty Mobile games.
