Battlefield 1 is by far the best WW1 FPS game still to this day. Even though its 7 years old this month. I decided to download the game to see how it felt after all these years, The rest is hostory.

This was the first FPS that managed to fully immerse me; the stories/chapters/music, the photo-realistic graphics, grimy atmosphere, sound design, and varied maps. This game was ahead of its time in several ways, and I will go back on occasion and play it until the last server dies.

I'm one of those who've never moved on from this game. Play it every week. Sure it's got issues but the immersion and feel it provides keeps me coming back to it.
I wouldn't mind if they brought back BF1 and it being a remaster. I would play that all day. I miss BF1 and wish it would come back.

If they decide to bring a remaster It will be more broken than 2042 at launch. Bf1 as it is currently holds up better than most AAA titles if you compare the graphics only.

BF1…what can I say? I remember those days rocking my youngest to sleep while playing. I remember watching you teabagging fools, the limpets, the sniping. Loads of fun watching and playing that game. I tried it all because of you.
I’ve done it with all the games since. Still my favorite channel on RUclips. And to be honest, it’s less about the actual game and more about the content you bring along with it.

I'm wondering how come Battlefield V didn't follow up on that with upgrades? WW1 & WW2 were real events. I don't play Battlefield 2042 a factitious enemy and events. I play BF5 but can understand how good BF1 was hard to follow.

Release was 7 days before Titanfall 2, i was more of a TF2 player and that was not smart from EA. Both great games but the fast paced TF2 was damn good,

2042 is just.... goofy. Its like they saw what fortnite and overwatch and warzone did so they tried to be hip and cool with the characters saying corny voice lines like " HAHA BETTER LUCK NEXT TIME" really? Better luck next time after you murdered a guy?? Squid loves hearing goofy voice lines after every kill. " haha gotta try harder than that. " we went from people screaming when they charged in to that mess... people like squid are killing gaming

So why do you still support the 2042 game?? That trash has no immersion at all. Battlefield 3 has infinitely more destruction, better sound design, and it honestly has better graphics just because of the art style.
BF4 is far better in every way though.
