More so feel great. The thin outsole on infinity react series wears out pretty quick but ive bought so many colorways because its incredible cushioning and response

9:02 I kind of like the fact that they dont look asteticaly pleasing after a few runs, but still work like a beast, because it means that they've focused on the performance of the shoe and not how it wiull end up looking after a few miles.

I run cross country and started with Frees, but with distance running (70-85 miles per week), I use Pegasus 35s on mileage days and ZoomFlys on speed days. The flexibility couldn’t provide support. I also got made fun of for using level 2 shoes.
Just bought the pair of free run 2. great for jumping rope, Just jumping rope and walking and I've tried Vans, basketball shoes and Nike zoom. but free run 2 gives me the most amazing experience
I've been buying Nike for 18 years from the Air-max, shock and recently tried the zoom tech, a set would last me 3-5 years depending. Since my accident, I have a lower back problem and I must say that the zoom is one of the most comfortable shoes that I'd ever bought and owned by Nike, the cushioning makes me forgot that I'm even wearing shoes, I'm also a bit picky when buying new shoes, if it doesn't appeal to my liking, I'd wait for months until one comes along that does. But the zoom is one of the best choices that I've currently have made.

Once I got serious about running, I couldn’t use air tech, super unstable that led to two ankle sprains. Love the Nike Free RN for short runs and just tried the epic react. Will do same with Vapor.
I really loved my Nike RN Trainers from years and years ago. It's super minimal so it gives you a lightweight shoe and most ideal splay and stride of foot. I wish I could buy those again :(

i have about 50 pairs of air max. Ones, Zeroes, 90s, 95s, 97s, 2008-2017s, Flynit Maxes, Tailwinds, 180s, 270s, all Vapormaxes, and i am probably forgetting other iterations. I have only popped 2. Flyknit Max Bright Crimson and Polarized Blue (i almost cried, look up the colorway) and Vapormax Platinum. Very durable shoes.
I remember the Free 5.0 in 2004... came w a caution slip that they were not recommended for performance running! Wonder what they did to change that thru the years
I had some nike free around 2017. At the time I didn't know what shoes I had but they felt smooth like when I ran my steps felt in sync. The best way to visually describe it would be like playing Mario vs sonic at the Olympic games; when you get the perfect timing it just makes you save energy and increases your performance. I have some pegasus 39's rn but I can't replicate the same feeling. I believe it's due to how high I lift my legs when I run so the thinner shoe gives me a better transition compared to bulkier shoes. Wish I knew if they were 3.0, 4.0, or 5.0 .
I’ve had a pair of Nike odyssey react 2 for 11 months and they actual cushion feeel isn’t as noticeable as when I first wore them but that might be me getting used to them but they are still extremely comfortable and have held up
I work at Nike and regardless of what we’re taught about each technology this and a lot of HES’ videos really give you a great perspective about how to approach a certain type of consumer or give you the best advice for the type of shoe you’re looking for. I tell my consumers almost the same things he explain in this video. ZoomX is crazy incredible! He is a great resource!

Nike made the mistake of putting air max technology into a tennis shoe once (I'm talking about actual tennis shoes btw, like shoes meant to play tennis). I blew both air pockets on my air max cages in about a week.

I've had one pair blow because of a nail . They're durable and I love them . As far as running in them for long distances I tried and they're not for that for me . I wear Nike all over except to run in . I wear Hokas , Brooks for running . Maybe the Nike React is okay . I did run in Nike Pegasus for years until I had spinal cord surgery.
I gots the Air 270 and the heavier you are the better..... I put a few more pounds on and now I'm liking them better. The Pegasus 35 are just magic as far as running.... Reacts are like Nike's Boost.... Reacts however feel so light it's like you are wearing nothing. I have the Uncaged Ultra Boosts and I like running in those but they are a bit flexible and run a tad large compared to my Saucony Everun Freedom ISOs. Oh in the Nike Airmax 97 I blew them everytime....very pissed. Nike used to replace your shoes for free if they blew out.... if they had ZERO evidence of a nail or anything and they blew on their own.... they'd replace them, but they stopped doing that shit...sadly. So my first pair blew.... no idea how... then my replaced ones also blew and I gave up on the shoe even though I loved the 97 Air Max.

Nike lunar elite 9 or whatever that I got was such a nice shoe. And while I wore them to the ground, they still were bouncy and held some suppleness to them when I would wear them time to time as BS shoes for yard work. But they are a consistent material/shoe

I feel like the React is performing much better in terms of durability than expected. After 150 miles my outsole still looks great.

Free is not a cushioning tech. It's a shoe tech that uses phylon but the flexibility makes it natural on your running stride.
Does zoom air bottom out, does last forever?
HDsharp you probably won’t have to worry about bottoming out the biggest concern is accidentally stepping on a nail or something

Nike used to replace your shoes for free if they blew out.... if they had ZERO evidence of a nail or anything and they blew on their own.... they'd replace them, but they stopped doing that shit...sadly. So my first pair blew.... no idea how... then my replaced ones also blew and I gave up on the shoe even though I loved the 97 Air Max.
They still replace the popped shoes! Mine started to leak somewhere so I stabbed them with a knife, they still replaced those :D

I've been wearing Nikes my whole life and I've come to prefer Free 3s over my other running shoes. I've always been a fan of running barefoot since I was a kid though so it's no surprise I guess

Nike lunar elite 9 or whatever that I got was such a nice shoe. And while I wore them to the ground, they still were bouncy and held some suppleness to them when I would wear them time to time as BS shoes for yard work. But they are a consistent material/shoe
