You made my day! Love your commentary. I won't be trying to replace this myself. Could they make this any more difficult?! Thanks for the laughs and for videoing everything you went through.
Hey great job...on sharing ur experience...and keeping it real.💯..you showed ur struggles with this job,, so many times I've seen these videos that makes a job look soo simple..after they have edit out all the hard parts. AND great job explaining how to trouble shoot vs just changing a part one may think is bad
Thank you for the video!! Nissan's design is absolutely a disaster. I'm having a Rogue 2011 right now and totally understand your pain. ^^ Planning to move to Honda or Toyota, they are just easier to maintain.
I have same problem but got my motor and resistor checked and they are both working ….could it be a wire or control board problem? My floor has been soaked at times thanks for your video but my problem sounds different
@@smaurer4197 The blower motor and resistor could still be bad and whoever looked at it didn’t want the job! But water on the floor is usually the sunroof drains are clogged follow the link in my other comment
I cleaned out my Sunroof drains 2 summers ago .., and the guy who checked the blower motor and resister is completely honest ! Other ideas are welcome!!
I have a 2015 rogue and it’s only cold air blowing out the shop claims that the ac switch keeps getting stuck on on . What do you suggest I do . And where is it located at . Thank you in advance
Sounds to me that one of the blend actuators went bad. The blend actuator mixes the cold and hot air to get your desired temperature. It’s probably stuck in full cold.,I’m not sure where it is without the vehicle in front of me
My 2011 rogue is on the driver side and brake and accelerator needs to come off in order to get blower motor out. My blower is faulty again, 😢. Good thing I have an idea now and it will be a bit easier.
that’s the blower motor resistor, which also can go bad and cause ac/heat to stop working. its usually a toss up between the blower motor and the ac resistor.
Unfortunately the resistor is on the driver side and you have to remove the gas and brake pedal to get to it. I could see it after I removed the blower motor from the passenger side. I didn’t replace it
I just love the narrator - thanks for keeping the video clean and oh-so entertaining! Oh!! And super helpful too!
Very useful. Thanks for showing mistakes & all. It helps.

This just happened to me today ( 7-31-24 ) will check the fuse first but I have a feeling it's just what you went through.yea me
Easy job just looks intimidating.. turn the blower motor with some channel locks clockwise
Is it the same on 2016?
I believe so but you should check first
What's it mean when it works then turns off then works again? Does that mean it going out on me??
@@tiffanypeerson1391 yes its probably going out
Did you have to replace the resistor? If so where is that located.
