It seems like this is the first time in a decade that I spent the week highly anticipating a game where there were genuine stakes on the line and Nebraska showed up and performed! What a night!
Waited all day for this like a kid at Christmas! Let’s go!! As for the second half. I think it reminded me of 2003 ISU @ NU We bang out to 28-0 and then the second half was just NU chewing clock against a team who had nothing left.
GBR!! Great game. Watching it from home, could really tell Memorial Stadium was rocking after Tommi’s pick 6! Also guys, are you going to do the “who’s in the club?” Analogy this year?
Watching Jacory Barney stiff arm Travis Hunter and drag him along for 7-10 yards was amazing. (4th quarter play that got called back due to a really bad holding call.)
How about the photobomb by Tommy Frazier on Rhule’s pregame on field interview by the sideline reporter…Rhule, without missing a beat in the interview: “Hey! That’s Tommie Frazier!”
You two were cathartic during our losing time. You put things in perspective and gave us a good laugh. So you need to come up with a name. What are we going to call this before. When we were the stumbling bumbling huskers. I'll hang up and listen for the next podcast.
Man. "We're traumatized" is such a spot on take. After every drive, offense OR defense, after celebrating with folks in the stands around me, my comment was always "Im still nervous". Until halfway through the fourth haha. And yes, I'd agree, the pick6 was the loudest point
Good 1,2 punch at RB. Always love the pod guys! You come to Nashville and I'll hook you up with the best places to go in town, that aren't tourist traps. GBR!!
@@1216Rocker That is my sentiment. The closest thing that comes to mind is a 2014 where you have Malik Collins, Vincent Valentine, and Randy Gregory. But the linebackers and secondary weren’t as good as this years. The depth is impressive as well. When Cam Lenhardt and James Williams step into the game they get after it.
Coach Rhule didn't prepare his team for the second half. We've never been up 28 to zero with a dominating defense in the first half. How we going to keep this thing rolling in the second half and stay with this lead. A whole new set of problems. 😉 GBR!
about Dowdell's run on the first drive, I agree he could have made a move on the safety but that was Shilo Sanders and I think he wanted to truck him because everyone knows he's not physical. Sanders didn't get trucked per se because he dived but you could tell he wanted none of that. If he would have got a square hit on him it might have knocked him out.
Dude, I FU*^%IN LOVE YOUR LAUGH!! I’m totally a “shiny wet brand new baby subscriber,” …(lol, not to grease your skids here or that I’m winking at ya) but dude when your voice goes “screechy-high” before you laugh……..I’m totally rollin with ya right there in that moment @ what was said. (& then even more when u tee-up & deliver that crazy laugh.) Well done…. All things aside, ya got a great POD thing going here dudes, most of (if not all) of what I heard in this, are already conceived thoughts & emotions all the true sker’ fans have dude. In closing, that’s probably as-to “why” this is a very successful & organic show. Hats off…. Hat tip…… Cheers dudes…… Billy Rod II
Any thoughts on Warren Sapp being present to witness the '94 team reunion of his Hurricane beatdown, let alone having to view our National Championship sign on the stadium all night!?!
Love the 1st half but the second half offense was abysmal. Really looked to me like the OC went panic mode and just tried to kill clock way to early. This make me nervous against teams with better "D" when they need to keep the petal down. The Black Shirts were lights out!!! D is balling out.
Love you guys! So You tease the oldsters for their morning paper and not liking the new technology, and then you admit you don't know. The latest artist don't go downtown much and are not up to the current trends. Gentlemen, it's happening faster than you know. GBR
Anything can happen, that said this staff won't let it happen they don't underestimate any opponent regardless they do there across-the-board indept game film Intel paying attention to detail. you husker zealots need to remove your heads from asses from the past and embrace and envision the present and the cutting-edge future of collegiate football and Nebraska football a new day and era has cometh.
Sub-Prime is not a coach. He is a grifter that has turned the CU football program into Sanders Family Football LLC. His huge contract for evidently not coaching. His sons get scholarships and stipend from CU. His sons are pimped for huge NIL money and big NFL contracts. His TV commercials and what else?

So nice to wake up this morning with a smile on my face thinking about the win… knowing it wasn’t a dream 🎈❤️🎈

1:14:36 the episodes of the past years got me through the bad football play. Thank you guys!

In retrospect, this win will be seen as the turning point of the Matt Rhule rule era.

Is this our best front 7 since 09?
Likely yes.

Dowdell is the man
feelsgoodman finally
43:15 the roughing the passer was from the CO player shoving Dylan’s head into the ground after the play.

He put Shilo out of the game on that hit.
He didn't want that smoke. Dante wasn't going to cut left or right. Wanted to let him know who was the bat and who was the ball😂😂😂😂
Shiloh lucky that wasn't Anthony Grant or being blocked by Chancellor Brewington.
John Bullock is a Creighton Prep alum.
He played awesome!!
I like him anyway.
I would say we haven’t seen a defense like this since 09, 010

I hate that laugh. Like a girl. I like the show, but that laugh is cringe. Js
Check out Schick and Nick pod.

Dana Altman, “Simple plays, fellas.”

This is why Rhule hired John Butler for games like this and Ohio St.

Wondering what the membership fees are for the Nick Bahe punt fan club.
Why does that Bourbon look like a Rose wine?
We really need a 260lb FB and a 240lb Beast Mode for mop-up against these smaller squads.
Errybody getta GahmeBall!! 😂😂😂
No fumbles.
Williams was not off sides. Another crappy call
Hearing your brother picked you up made me laugh because I did the same thing to my pregnant wife in the stadium 😂
Gotta coin RAIDEN⚡️⚡️⚡️lol
Offense game ball to Dowdell.
Out coached is right. CO should have kicked a FG when they were close in the first half.
They did. We blocked it😂
@@coopertodd28 I don’t have a play-by-play, but there was a point in the game when CO went for it on 4th when they should have kicked.
I'm nervous for northern iowa now because of what happened to notre dame

The refs ruined the momentum in the 2nd half...
