I've seen that multiple times and In one occasion the husband paid extra for me to say if I see something and the wife tipped better to mind my own business, I loved that account
Wow! It's almost amazing that they are still in business if that's their norm. I haven't been able to start my business yet (bye to some health issues), but I would have done the same you had your guy do (cleaning up behind the tool). I saved a horrible lawn simply by mulching every time and cutting it a little taller, and now after three years, the grass is choking out the weeds.
See no evil, speak no evil. You're there to take care of lawn business not her business so yes, you made the right decision. Just discovered your channel today and subscribed.
Nick: I was taught by both my Grandfather's that were in lawn care. , Agriculture, Excavation & Logging that's you'll see alot of stuff on the job others might not want you to see. & If you see anything in such matters, it's better to Keep your Trap Shut, Mind your own business & keep collecting that Dough. I follow that advice even to this day. Mack
He did trespass. He didn't have work to do on that lawn and didn't ask permission to wander about that property. Look up the definition of trespassing and conclude for yourself.
I agree with you on the customer cheating. Minding my own business is the best way to go about those situations. Don't get involved with people's bullsh*t. One the other hand... That "competitors" quality of work is beyond lacking. It reminds me of the landscaper my mother used to have mowing her property. Scalped spots from the mowers, trimmer burn on every spot they ran a string trimmer, grass left everywhere. After I took over mowing for her, re-seeding her lawns dead spots, redefining the flower beds, and mulching... It led to her neighbors asking what I'd want to mow their yards, trim shrubs, etc. which then led to me forming my own lawn care company.
I just got my Equipment Defender 3 position trimmer racks in yesterday and man I’m blown away by the quality and how heavy duty they are, once I get them on my trailer I’ll be able to give a better review but right now I think they are gonna be EXACTLY what I need
Mind your own. I used to do power cleaning in Baton Rouge in the summertime for a company between college semesters while I was at LSU; our crew witnessed that shit almost weekly. One customer we had was rumored to be part of a Rich Italian mob because he would hand us 5x the normal invoice amount in cash each time we went out there(probs because the feds were all over his bank accounts), and his wife was a known cheater in the local community, so we kept shut and prayed he don't come around asking us one day. And he never did, so I slept better every night.
Nick. Great video as usual. You're right, discretion is best and more important. Loyalty is key Also, probably time to check brake pads. I remember last season when you replaced them. You have heavy truck always pulling trailer. Will use them up quicker, just part of it.
To be honest, I haven’t been in that situation so I can’t say what I’d do 100%. Now, I think I wouldn’t say anything because HE could possibly NOT believe you and then you’ve lost a yard for nothing.
I use to have this one customer she always wanted to ask about things in the lawn. Check was always under the mat. Then leaf clean up season rolled around. My wife often helps me on leaf season. Well the check was not under the mat. I rang the bell at 9 am she comes to the door in a black negligeeand her little dog barking. I stepped back from the door and called out "HEY HONEY YOU GOTTA SEE THIS LITTLE PUPPY" that old crow looked like I deer in truck lights. My wife played right along and ask is that Bijan? I think I spelled it right. But anyway I raised her price and then got the extra cash and then dropped her like a hot potato.
Landscapers in states like this seem so easy, it's just grass lol in arizona it's an art, there are so many types of tropical type gardens you have to maintain, along with complicated irrigation systems.
Try running dual stripes. Do two lines in the same direction, then two in the opposite direction. Its looks amazing on golf turf grass or kentucky blue grass.
I got the new Milwaukee switch tank sprayer. Best splurge purchase I’ve made in a while. Love not worrying about the risk of contaminating a tank with roundup when going to a selective herbicide. I also sprayed my blower racks with rustoleum paint that matched the green over the winter. Shouldn’t have to do that but they’re holding up better than factory pint.
Mind your own Business not to lose the contract. I used to provide service Taking pictures and following people who are cheating I was a private investigator for 4 years
Making another man aware he may get stuck with an 18 year bill, which isn’t his, is my business. Women would ALWAYS tell the wife, us men need to grow a pair and stick together. Not telling him is cowardice.
Nick as a person who cuts everyday you see everything. When we get behind we will skip weed whacking or edging to catch back up. Not every week but it does happen
As far as what happened with that customer I wouldn't say anything about it. By saying something to the husband or doing anything about it you would just be opening yourself help to more liablity it's better to leave it alone and do your job.
Just thought I'd tell you what's helped me get more yards..I make flyers and pass them out and if you really want a yard knock on the door introduce yourself and hand them one of your flyers just let them know you're in the neighborhood and if they need any help with their yard to give you a call!
Same here bro! I started asking people in my neighborhood about a month or two ago and have had a few customers but only 1 revolving account set in stone. 1 lady is holding me off until she gets her finances together and a few yards were a one time deal. We’ll get there brother! Don’t give up!
SLUMERICAN what’s a good sales pitch to say? Most doors I knock on, no one even answers. I’ve left a few fliers and never got calls. I’m also having trouble figuring out pricing. Anyway we can exchange contact info so I can learn more? I’m 27 and embarrassed to admit I’m just now starting to make my own money (due to mental health issues). Thanks in advance bro!
Zachary Gustafson when I use to be nervous knocking on doors. I use to hand them my flyer and when they (home owner) take eye contact off me. Run by my pitch.
Tone True that’s a good idea bro. I don’t have a vehicle currently so I don’t go further than a few streets to ask potential customers because I have a push mower.
I can tell you don't have to deal with sprinkler systems. Try this type of work where I'm from . It get 109 degrees and lets see how much you get done.
Crazy world out there! Can’t believe you had to clean up another companies dirt🙄 and then got the ‘dirt ‘ on a customer 😳 wowsa and the week is only half finished!
Yeah right. Watch them get a call saying services no longer needed at that address. The ol lady will get some new lawn care dicks who didnt see nuthin lol just watch
The one thing that burns me up? I see things like this at a National Guard NBC response facility in town. The main building has this manmade hill/valley that surrounds half the property, I guess for drainage. The company that mows that property takes their zero turn sitdown mower up those hills at a 45 degree angle, and as a result they leave ragged patches of grass at the base of the hill unmowed, and they completely burn the grass out of the turf at the very top. They leave deep ruts in the ditches and they skip trimming ... Wait, they USED to skip the trimming until they saw me shaking my head as they were packing up. In my opinion, our sons, daughters, brothers, sisters, mothers, fathers, cousins, aunts and uncles in the military deserve better than this.
Respectfully i would tell the husband. I sure appreciated it when a friend let me know 🤷♂️ But first. Wait till winter time. Keep them payments rollin just a few more 🤫🤫🤫🤫🤫😂😄
I'll be honest here about that lawn care competitor. I've seen this happen all too often in my area. However the competition is fierce where I am where the average residential lawn is $20-$25 a cut. Includes edging, weed eating, lawn mowing rotating the cut every week, and blowing off driveway and bagging the grass. There is literally no money to be had here that being said. The survival of the business is the most important thing to every business owner. I understand that pride in the quality of work wins the customer over. But as a small lawn company single member LLC it means making or breaking the business as you'll always come out in the negative after over head with how cutthroat the competition is out here low balling to the point the profits have bottomed out. I guarantee most of the small lawn companies and some larger ones will play dirty low balling and cutting corners to keep their prices this low. Where I live, if you aren't playing their game, you'll quickly learn how fast you are replaceable if your price isn't right. Here where I live they want quality but aren't willing to pay up so you have to figure ways to deliver it and keep costs low for your clients as price around here seems to be the major deciding factor.
Have not caught someone cheating...... But i was mowing and a lady was outside tanning and waved me over so i stop and walked over to her i noticed her straps where untied and about the time i get to her she stands up and just starts talking ro me about how good the yard looks. Glad i had my sun glasses on lmao! But another great video nick look forward to the next one!!!!!! #loyaltyiskey
You start thinking, after the cheating scandal, this could be happening to me🤔 Stay cool, going to be a scorcher the next week! They call it the death ridge ! 95 degrees plus😡
I’m pretty sure your customers watch your videos, how you think it’s gonna make them feel when they watch this one?? It’s always the right time to do the right thing. I hope you end up doing the right thing.
Nick, now all your male customers that watch your channel that have questionable relations with there spouses are going to be contacting you to see if it was their spouse. lol
Hey Nick, Man that’s not Cool on Leaving all that Grass across the Street & Not Trimming around the Trees 🌳What Bothers me the Most is that these Poor Customers are Actually Paying Hard Earned Money 💵 for that Service 🙄. On the Cheating 💯% DO NOT Get involved, you never know what is Really going on in someone’s House 🏡 😆 ... That is Really Cool of Green Touch to do That , Means they care about what their Customers are saying about their Product ✅👍🏻 Thanks for Sharing, Take Care & Be Safe 🇺🇸
Dakota Hughes we use the 755’s for normal mowing and 770’s for wet grass and leaves. I didn’t think the 8010 was all that impressive. Also, it’s a gas guzzler.
I’m a mow manger and I kinda slack on my weed eating but there’s a trick and only Farris mowers have it, the blades are about 1/8 of a inch away from the chute so go around the tree chute side up, the suction from the chute will get nice and close and you save time and for me time is huge I do 205 accounts in a week so you can call me lazy😂
I drive by many yards in my area and cringe and point out yards that other mowing companies who leave grass in the streets and parking lots, all over cars and buildings. makes me mad.
I've seen that multiple times and In one occasion the husband paid extra for me to say if I see something and the wife tipped better to mind my own business, I loved that account

More people need to take pride in their work like this man.
I've been in lawn care business for 30 years I really do enjoy your video .
“I’m there to provide a service, apparently he was there to provide a service too” hahaha

I like how you just help your self to the property almost trespassing 😂😂
@@jimstack8493 that exactly what nick did. He literally said a different company services the yard and then walked around looking at there work.
He did trespass. He didn't have work to do on that lawn and didn't ask permission to wander about that property. Look up the definition of trespassing and conclude for yourself.
jrbvids Why do I get the vibe
Some people want the cheapest price and they get what they pay for.
Well some people actually pay for cuality but they just do a shitty job
I will bet it was the home owner.
I agree with you on the customer cheating. Minding my own business is the best way to go about those situations. Don't get involved with people's bullsh*t.

I was in business and the hardest issue I had with employees was attension to detail. And theft from coustomers was a bit of a problem too.
Mind your own. I used to do power cleaning in Baton Rouge in the summertime for a company between college semesters while I was at LSU; our crew witnessed that shit almost weekly. Nick. Great video as usual. You're right, discretion is best and more important. Loyalty is key
Also, probably time to check brake pads. I remember last season when you replaced them.
You have heavy truck always pulling trailer. Will use them up quicker, just part of it.
Chris Wise just had them all four done 3k miles ago. Thanks for reminder tho Chris!
Appreciate it Ninja 👊🏻💯
There’s a WRIGHT 👍🏻 way and a wrong way. Keep up the good work.
To be honest, I haven’t been in that situation so I can’t say what I’d do 100%. Now, I think I wouldn’t say anything because HE could possibly NOT believe you and then you’ve lost a yard for nothing.
They should have Orange cones around that pod for safety. You guys do a great job.
Killing it as always, definitely a #wapacha

you mind your own buisness. dont want to get involved in people's drama.
Her lawn would have went up 25 per cut.Lol😉

Tell himnto not walk on the wet herbicide because he will leave dead footprints later.

Hopefully you knocked on for and informed that customer what terrible job they did sp in future you'll get that contract.
MYOB 100% no exceptions for something like that.
I’m so happy to have one lawn I can’t wait to get more

Yeah right. Watch them get a call saying services no longer needed at that address. The ol lady will get some new lawn care dicks who didnt see nuthin lol just watch
I never liked the green color anyway. As soon as I got mine, I painted them with the rustoleum spray paint -black. Matches everything.

@Paul Robinson yea mine is outside the same time every tuesday. She also has a little dog i play with fir a minute and always been it a treat
Noah be like fuck that camera lets go Nick
No one takes pride in what they do🤔 fast and cheap lawn care is what that customer received. Just look at the condition of that lawn 👀😡.
You start thinking, after the cheating scandal, this could be happening to me🤔 Stay cool, going to be a scorcher the next week! They call it the death ridge ! 95 degrees plus😡
Hey Nick just curious how come you run your cuts with the curve of the house instead of running straight lines ? Just curious
Sometimes I do that method it's looks great on some yards
Nick I'm happy that you are so blessed. I also go the extra mile to make it right the first time. What's up with sassafras?
No clue, never called me again....guess he moved on 🤷🏻♂️
That's awful, unexceptable. like you said, must take pride in whatever you do.
Yup! Stay out of it. You did good.
Ninja Mike in the house!! on this whacka granny Wednesday what up sensei Nick fellow ninjas let's get this party started
People do what they want to do and who they want to do every day lol
What sunglasses are you wearing?
Yall pissed because he was calling out shit work. Probably same people who slack off at their jobs and get mad when others put it out there.
I’m pretty sure your customers watch your videos, how you think it’s gonna make them feel when they watch this one??
It’s always the right time to do the right thing.
I hope you end up doing the right thing.
He did the right thing. stay out of it, it is not his job to but into their marriage..
Christopher Baker You right it’s always best to stay out of other people’s business, but he got Involved by recording and posting.
do you think buffing or wax would help? maybe a clear coat?
Nick, now all your male customers that watch your channel that have questionable relations with there spouses are going to be contacting you to see if it was their spouse. lol
She was getting her bush examined
I would say something. Men gotta stick together.
Who cares who’s first watch the video for crying out loud lol
My point exactly. I thumbs down every time i see that crap.

I’d slip an anonymous note on his car discreetly next time.
That lawn service sucks; you should make a video of it and put it on youtube.
You raise that price!!!!!😂
She will get the house in the divorce, so if you tell on her you will lose your account. LOL
Nice job Ninjas!
Are those pb8010's worth using all season or would it be better to use the 770t for most of the season, and the 8010's for the clean up jobs
Dakota Hughes we use the 755’s for normal mowing and 770’s for wet grass and leaves. I didn’t think the 8010 was all that impressive. Also, it’s a gas guzzler.
If we left a yard like that an my boss saw I dont think I'd have a job anymore
I’m a mow manger and I kinda slack on my weed eating but there’s a trick and only Farris mowers have it, the blades are about 1/8 of a inch away from the chute so go around the tree chute side up, the suction from the chute will get nice and close and you save time and for me time is huge I do 205 accounts in a week so you can call me lazy😂

Open that top up put some gorrila tape on the inside of the hole while its dry then go on the outside and JB weld that up then go pull the tape out
All your customers that watch the videos will be paranoid it's their wife haha
Well I'm not in the lawn care business but you know if it's not the pool boy then it could be the lawn boy taking care of the cheating wife😁
It is illegal in Ohio to leave grass on the road because of the motorcycle crashes
Ronny McDonny yes
Not my circus not my monkeys.
I don't understand why u guys don't use mulch kits I won't accept a machine off the yard without a mulch kit
Congrats on reaching 40K
They need to be powder coated. Looks a lot better and will last longer
Any tips on using a stand-on mower I just got one and I founds it's a tough jump from a sit down
Nick I thought I was the only one do that. SMH, when you see bad work it's fustrating
Something you get what you pay for it
Beautiful lawns
If it ain't about the grass it ain't seen
100% mind yo business.
