I'm a black male that works with a majority of white males that listen to country music and about a year ago I heard "Keep me in mind" and from then on I've been, not just a Zac brown band fan but a fan of country music as well. Now I'm known as the caramel hillbilly LMAO... Zac Brown is the best.
I'm glad you have opened up to different genres and the name that was given was a term of endearment if you had long hair you would have been the hippie hillbilly but I agree Zac Brown is the best and I don't really listen to country music hardly at all
it was on a limited edition release of the first studio album Foundation..for the actual release the album got trimmed down and this song did not make the "public" release of the album.
Zac Brown band isn't a country band. They don't make country music, they make art. They make feelings and moods into a rhythm with words. Anytime I'm in a bad mood or angry, I listen to these guys and I instantly get in a good mood.
@@BG-bx4ey Well being that my comment was 6 years ago, I can say I have a different opinion. Granted they're not as good as they were, they're still only county in their country songs. They also have Pop songs, folk songs, rock songs, reggae songs, some familiar sounds of sweet baby James.....While a great band, I still wouldn't say they're one direct sound. Would you say Zeppelin is a Blue band or Rock? Maybe psychedelic rock folk? Rock/Blues/Folk? Post Malone does the same thing. Is he a Rapper? A pop singer? Rock singer?......Some people or groups have multiple sounds. But it's cool cause it makes them stand out. It shows how versatile they are.
@@mathewcameron123mc Well, 6 years ago, they had only produced 1 genre in their songs, country. Unfortunately, they're not as versatile as they think, because all of their songs that they've branched out to make have been mediocre at the absolute best.
It just might be the most importantly profound statement ever, "happiness is found inside your heart". Choose to find it there and life is easier. There is always something to be thankful for.
I heard this song 15 years ago somewhere in Missouri. For years I thought it was Brad Arnold from 3 Doors Down and could never find the song. Then one day i am just at work and heard it come on the pandora station and recognized it instantly. I love this song.
Discovered this band about a year ago, and fell in love with their music so much that I have just got tickets to see them in London on the 1st of July, It must be the farthest i've gone to see a concert as I live in southern Spain and am only going for a day Lol...AMAZING band!!!!
ZAC BROWN BAND! BEST BAND OF THIS GENERATION GREAT MUSIC AND EVEN BETTER LIVE EXPERIENCE. IF YOU HAVN'T SEEN GET OUT TO ONE THIER SHOW'S YOU'LL LOVE IT!!!!!!
i seen zac brown band in dallas at a hole in a wall bar with only 20 people all of them fam n friends and then me and my friend.....they were nobody singing gigs like that i i remembered i told my firnd:""""" wdf are they doing here"""""" bc they played this song and what it is and they were amazing....5 $ cover to get in....face to face with the band tlkng and drinking and i even bougt a cd they made in the computer with these songs at $10.00...will never forget that night zbb r awesome
On This Train is my favorite song by Zac Brown Band. Love them all and love this group so much. They keep it real and the instrumentals are the kind where you close your eyes and enjoy the song
Sometimes you catch fire Have to drop and roll it off Sometimes you fall down Have to pick yourself back up Sometimes you'll need a hand Life will throw curves Youll learn how to swerve Before hitting the curb When it gets too hot You'll learn to let it go Before it leaves a nasty burn Just remember Bite off what you can chew Keep your mouth closed when you do And don't grab More than you can hold
These guys put passion back into music we all want something with powerful meaning and they are so humble with music they emphasize that you cant take it with you when you go their the reason im getting the tattoo you get what you give on my arm
ZBB are the absolute best! All of their music is amazing and so influential :D They put so much meaning into their lyrics and you can hear the emotion in his voice. Amazing band love them to pieces :D
The Zac Brown Band is my favorite band and I love all of their music and songs that they sing. They are number one band to me. I enjoy hearing their music every time I have the chance to turn on my tablet on to the a music app for Country Music.
Been looking for this song everywhere. Seems it's on their first self produced album Homegrown, which is no longer available :( and is also impossible to search for now their new single is named Homegrown haha.
exactly alexavalos08 they are so diverse. I absolutely love these guys. Seen them a couple of times now and would never tire of listening to them. I love this song so much and I cannot find the Home Grown album anywhere to buy in the UK. Love the song he does with Alan Jackson too (As shes walking away)
For those that are looking for this song or album are gonna have a hard time doin so. It is off the "Home Grown" album not "The Foundation" album. And for those fighting about ZBB being country. I wouldnt classify ZBB to being solely country. They play reggae, blue grass, jazz, etc.
Hi there, Can someone please tell me which album this song is off, I know it shows The Foundation as the album cover but I do not see it on there? I absolutley cannot stop listening to this song I love it.
@cbd734 I think he's inner-city, I just have a hunch. Maybe he can't afford it, that sucks. I think the price of college is crazy too. A lot of times people cannot get a good job if they don't get a college degree, and I know a lot of people can't afford it. Or he's an average moron who thinks he can live off of love instead of money. Or I could be wrong, that happens every once in a while.

Genre is colorblind to the soul. I'm glad you've found something that speaks to you.
Zac brown made me fall in love with country too!!
8p
We wouldn't have country if not for the contributions of blues. There is no music style that is owned by any people or culture.
why is this the ONLY zac brown song not on spotify? its the best
i agree, its the best song!
Not the best, but should be on there
It won't play on Amazon Prime either :-(
I think it is a dispute with Zac Brown Band and publisher of this album or maybe song writer or somwthing. Has nothing to do with Spotify.
it was on a limited edition release of the first studio album Foundation..for the actual release the album got trimmed down and this song did not make the "public" release of the album.
I seem to always come back to this song. It’s somehow always hits Home and so many different ways.❤
Zac Brown band isn't a country band. They don't make country music, they make art. They make feelings and moods into a rhythm with words. Anytime I'm in a bad mood or angry, I listen to these guys and I instantly get in a good mood.
All music is art. Zach Brown Band is country music. Just because you don't want to admit that you like it doesn't change or disqualify the genre.

How could anyone dislike this song. Its such quality music and lyrics! Just an incredible piece of music by a great band.
Still
Really enjoy the sound of this .......My Grandson introduced me to this Band, and I enjoy their sound!!
zack brown rules all the way
For all the people wondering why they can’t buy this anywhere; this is why some of us still buy CD’s. ;-)
It just might be the most importantly profound statement ever, "happiness is found inside your heart". Choose to find it there and life is easier. There is always something to be thankful for.
I was really fortunate to see them live in 2016 when they played this live, followed by Day That I Die. It was incredible.
I heard this song 15 years ago somewhere in Missouri. For years I thought it was Brad Arnold from 3 Doors Down and could never find the song. Then one day i am just at work and heard it come on the pandora station and recognized it instantly. I love this song.
Does not matter what the song he sings, its genuine,
this song is one of the greatest songs ever... its so sad that it didnt reach the audience it deserved.

Love love love this song and band
The melody and the back up singer on the hook sounds like some Fleetwood Mac
8 1/2 years later still can’t find this song anywhere but here
Dide your not kidding its ridiculous. I have Spotify and I have entered it every kind of way. I guess it was a bonus track on the foundation album
ZAC BROWN BAND! BEST BAND OF THIS GENERATION GREAT MUSIC AND EVEN BETTER LIVE EXPERIENCE. IF YOU HAVN'T SEEN GET OUT TO ONE THIER SHOW'S YOU'LL LOVE IT!!!!!!
this is one hell of a song! i love it boys, keep it up!
I love this kind of voice and harmony. This is why I love country.

I love zac brown band because most of his songs I feel a connection to
Sometimes you catch fire
Have to drop and roll it off
Sometimes you fall down
Have to pick yourself back up
Sometimes you'll need a hand
Life will throw curves
Youll learn how to swerve
Before hitting the curb
When it gets too hot
You'll learn to let it go
Before it leaves a nasty burn
Just remember
Bite off what you can chew
Keep your mouth
closed when you do
And don't grab
More than you can hold
This song is absolutely awesome❤
These guys put passion back into music we all want something with powerful meaning and they are so humble with music they emphasize that you cant take it with you when you go their the reason im getting the tattoo you get what you give on my arm
All of their songs are nice, and this ain't no exception.
ZBB are the absolute best! All of their music is amazing and so influential :D They put so much meaning into their lyrics and you can hear the emotion in his voice. Amazing band love them to pieces :D

I think country music is evil. Zac Brown band makes it good!
