    Thank you for your refreshing thoughts about not being embarassed to purchase water/juice. That it's ok to be too busy to make it yourself.

    I can tell you love what you are doing. I watched a yoga demo video you did and the beauty in the fluidity and knowing how far you have come and are still going, brought me to tears.
    Thank you for making videos and putting the effort in. You and B.K.S. Iyengar were my biggest inspirations. I like you to him, because I can see the manifestations of Dharma.

    Yes! Juicing is VERY good and if you can't you can always go to a whole foods or a juice bar to order plenty of juices that will help you keep hydrated. I love juicing and I love homemade fruit water that I make and place in a clear glass jar. I make it the night before so that I have a beautiful hydrating water in the mornings. The best part is you can eat the fruit in the end! Start your purification process and you will notice a HUGE difference in your yoga practice too.
    Thanks kino for the reminder! :)

    I lost 22 pounds last year by removing all carbonated soft drinks and any beverage that has high fructose corn syrup in it from my diet. I now drink at least 80 ounces of water a day. I still make my own sun tea from scratch (no instants) but I have maybe 2 or 3 glasses of iced tea a week. Water is life and it has been a key factor in my journey back to health. Now that I'm actively walking every week and doing ashtanga six days a week, I've dropped 69 pounds and still have 89 to go to get to goal weight. I love all the advice you give in this video; it's also been my experience that water + activity = healthier lifestyle. Peace & Light!

    Thanks for your video about this! Just switched my family to natural spring alkaline water and we are really loving it so far...we have an alkaline water spring close to our house so it's awesome to get water from the earth! I would love a video about food too! I was raised vegetarian/vegan but there are so many other factors in an (american) vegetarian diet like sugar, grains, and dairy...and then processed foods like protein bars and things that are marketed as healthy. I would love your perspective!

    That's all good stuff. I never drank soda much, but I did have a love for sweet drinks like ice tea or lemonade. I weighed about 40 pounds more than I do now. I stopped drinking those, and now drink mostly water, except for one cup of tea in the morning. That was the biggest change I made, and it really makes a difference. I like your yoga videos, and I've been trying some new poses. Now I can do the baby grasshopper, and I'm looking forward to getting some of the other balance poses figured out.

    Amazing! Love all your videos so much you're always so inspiring and enthusiastic! I'd love to hear more about what to do for your daily Ashtanga practice? I live in a pretty small town in France and there are no Ashtanga teachers anywhere nearby.. I've been practicing from videos (mainly yours!) and books since last summer and love it so much - it would be great to know what to do daily or whether to change up your practice to what you feel like? I try to do the Primary Series at least twice a week but sometimes it's too long to fit in - what would you suggest for those busy days? Namaste :)

    Hi Kino, I only have been practicing ashtanga for two months now. I practice 6 days a week but recently, I feel the laziness of not wanting to get on the mat (although I still practiced but in a happy mood). Do you have this kind of experience? If so, do you have any suggestions? Thank you so much in advance for your advice! *****

    alkaline water filters don't filter chemicals like sodium fluoride or chlorine, fluoride dries up your pineal gland.
    And I believe it will be good to say to eliminate milk and ghee or any dairy products that are causing terrible suffering to this poor animals.
    The best filtration system is reverse osmosis ( to have in the house) or distilled water.
    But what is most important in a Yogis life is what you eat, and most " Yogis" consume dairy and that is NOT PRACTICING AHIMSA.

    Kino, do you drink water before your yoga practice in the morning? I've been thinking a lot about that myself because I've heard that you shouldn't drink anything before yoga practice. But at the same time it feels wrong to do two hours of sweating without drinking anything before :)

      Aquatrue and berky are two inexpensive countertop filters recommended by holistic Medical doctors. Some offer discount codes for the aquatrue. Sooo good for our delicate hormonal systems!

    What abiut milk and dairy products?

    • @LunaLoona20
      @LunaLoona20 10 лет назад +5

      Avoid dairy, it contains hormones, antibiotics, blood and pus cells, it promotes cancer growth and makes your body sick. Plus, milk is for baby cows, it makes no sense for adult humans to drink it ;) xx

    • @miriammoretti3874
      @miriammoretti3874 10 лет назад +1

      I think everyone has to listen to their own body. If like me you are a vata type (ayurveda), don't have milk intollerance and buy organic local milk, why not drink some. I find that warm milk gives me a good night sleep and homemade yogurt is awesome for my poor colon, not exaggerating of course. Every human being is a little bit different and leaves in a different context, people.
