I also, don't understand why a Metallic Dragon wouldn't just cosplay as a Pseudo Dragon then it can hang out with people and teach it's wizard familiar magic.

My favorite dragon too, after reading the story of Silvara in Dragonlance. I'll never forget that part of the story.
