Gold Dragons, ironically, make for the best villain potential out of any Metallic dragon. A creature obsessed with fighting evil before it spreads, and yet too prideful to even consider that evil is just a game of both perspective and circumstance. The Gold Dragon could easily just become D&D's equivalent to Warhammer 40k's "Emperor of Mankind", a ruler that brings the world down under his rule with the ultimate purpose of ascensing and safeguarding a species and existence, only for his own hubris and lack of ability to comprehend humanity itself to make him into the very evil he swore to destroy.
I think this might be the best recommendation RUclips has given me in a very, very long time. As a forever DM and writer, it's given me a ton to think on, and your narration is excellent.
Do a brass dragon next! Probably has lots of funny stories to tell, or it talking about making friends with an adventurer (who isn’t really their friend but rather is annoyed by the dragon’s Clinginess)
Please do Through the eyes of a silver dragon! i'd love to hear more about my favourite dragon race! and the combo of silvers and golds just work soo well because the golds could just go to the silvers and be like "yo there is evil afoot" and then there is a whole dragon army on a mountain or something lol.
Wisdom straight from the king himself. Can you do a video on purple dragons in the near future? I hear they are the only ones who can go head to head with a Gold. Or maybe a dragon power scaling video from weakest to strongest. I think the top 4 would be Silvers Reds Purples and Golds. Just my 2 cents from what I've seen over the years. Thanks for another video.
Currently in the preparation phase of a new character - a Gold Dragonborn Sorcerer with Gold draconic bloodline - after being exiled from his clan for questioning his cultures hatred of dragons and seeking knowledge on his ancestry, he arrives in the sword Coast seeking knowledge of history and dragons. Are dragons truly evil? Or is there more to them than being ruthless slavers? He will discovery more on the history of Gold dragons, he will study magic just like them in his quest to unearth the truth and uncover the other side of the history he was taught. He will learn all he possibly can about magic, the weave, dragons, and himself. Needless to say these videos are extremely helpful
Neato concept, buddy, and cool perspective. I dont sub often but as a famous Kinks song said, "You really got me." (Though i like the Van Halen version better.) Good job and i look forward to more. P.S. Im writing a fantasy novel and the three dragons i most need POV for would be brass, blue, and undead/dragolich. Dragolich.... aww yeah. Those guys are kings of monster lore. Cheers, mate, for your efforts and heart.
Dragons are two individuals whose birth charts in astrology create the Phoenix rising when they combine their two personalities they become the Phoenix or fire bird November 3-11 & July 26-aug2nd
Dragons are not reptiles, so not reptilian.. "Serpent" would better suit them. Also dragons are mortal, so do not call humanoids "mortals" lol. Dragons are D&Ds most powerful mortal race😁
1: he was saying what a medieval peasant would think, in are world they considered puffins fish, so he might just be joking about how they get that wrong. 2: Many dragons don't consider themselves truly mortal. They consider themselves close enough to the divine that they are less mortal. He's a dragon, huge ego
A gold dragon who rallies a group of disabled and misformed dragons with character help would be a great adventure.
Explain please? This sounds like a great campaign idea.
