  • I’m actually pretty happy with this. There’s still a fair few mistakes here that I missed or couldn’t fix, but that’s mostly due to the struggle of using Alight Motion without buying it XD
This was one of those ideas that just slaps you in the face and refuses to go away until you finish it. I usually struggle with finishing what I start, but this is something I made in literally just the last two or three days lol
Also, I have mentioned it everywhere I can that this Error (Glitchy) is from a very specific AU, so if I find people complaining about Error being ‘ruined’ or being ‘soft’, I will laugh in their face and then delete their pathetic comment.

I changed Glitchy’s design a little here, just because I thought this looked really f-ing cute and I couldn’t help myself lol. Btw, check out Twisted by Harrish6! It’s a really fascinating take on if Error never escaped the Anti-Void until way later.
Also, the movements here are heavily inspired by Pionaut, whose video is linked in the desc!

I loved the video and hope your doing okay,
Do you have some tips for beginner animators?
also I loved your content and I'm excited to see more of it

Thanks. It’s not been easy for me, but I’m doing alright so far. As for the animation, the only tips I have are for tweening since I don’t do full on frame animation lol.
-But anyway, for a beginner I’d recommend doing easy, repeatable movements until you truly understand how key frames work.
-For bouncing like I did in the video, place down all the key frames you need _before_ you start the movements. So that way it’s already bouncing back without you having to adjust it again.
-When doing it with music, try your best to time it to the beats or the lyrics and not just whenever. This can be easy or hard depending on the software you use. I use Alight Motion, which allows me to place down flags at certain points so I always know when I want the movement to start or end
-Use Graphs. Always use graphs. It’ll make the motion between each key frame much smoother without having to space the key frames in an odd way. Very rarely will a motion look better without graphs, although it does happen occasionally.
-Make sure the graphs you use are the _same_ when aligned. If you have several key frames on top of each other or on different assets that take place at the same time, the graphs need to be the same or similar, otherwise it’ll look strange. Sometimes it can work in your favor, but that’s a bit of an advanced one, so it’s not beginner friendly lol.

I use Alight Motion, with occasional effects from CapCut or Motion Ninja.
Sorry for the late reply lol
