I think bone tunnel would be the one where there's a wavy pathway in the center of a ton of bones which you have to weave through. Bone wall is definitely what that one should be known by.
@venzjero Maybe there should be an LV bar and a level bar. LV is for killing while level is overall so Sans won't confuse your levels from mining and smelting or trading with killing.
I'd say it'd either need to be set to 200 kills and maybe 500 EXP points at least or something like that, to count. It's all about being a mass murderer, no? Imagine this. You start killing everything, as you kill them less creatures start appearing and the ones that do run from you. I feel like that'd make for a nice genocide mode sort of thing. Iron golems attack on sight, pillagers don't attack you thinking you're on THEIR side... Yknow. But everything else runs in fear.
this might be the best sans minecraft addon i've ever seen, well, most canon-accurate so far i have a few suggestions for this aswell; -sometimes, sans would just teleport somewhere else while the player isn't looking, and sleep there. -if you try to speedrun minecraft with sans spawned, you should make it so before entering the end portal, sans would freeze you in place saying that you've came here so fast he hasn't finished his ice cream yet, forcing you to waste 1 minute watching sans eating ice cream. (based off that one undertale unused cutsene of what happens if you enter the judgement hall so early) - add some more funny attacks like stepping on a whoopie cushion without realising, showing that sans is mocking you in the battle. thats all i have for now, i would love to download this mod when it's probably updated or smt, assuming you have more stuff to add keep it up!
Sans could occasionally take a nap in your inventory if you have the space, blocking off 4 inventory slots since you can hold a castles worth of stuff and enough bones to make 5 skeletons, in there I see no reason why a sans can't fit...
Sans could distract skeletons, bothering them till they decide to run away, possibly same for other monsters. Also maybe he should avoid iron golems, mentioning that he ran into one earlier and they didn't seem to like him too much, giving him a weird look every time he walked by... Golems shouldn't be immediately hostile since he looks a bit different from the average skeleton but after a while they should attack him if he stands too close to a villager.
A few Suggestions: 1-make him always look at the (nearest) player when he’s talking 2-make the gaster blasters shoot at a tilted angle from above 3-have his bone attacks do higher/faster tick damage the more xp you have 4-make his behavior like sans in Undertale (he follows the player from a distance and keeps them *mostly* safe as long as they don’t get any xp) Example: if the player is hungry with no food in their inventory sans will secretly drop food nearby, if the player is falling from a high place sans will give them slow falling (like he’s lowering them with blue soul) and so on

Just a few things to put on the docket. For one. Merchant Sans. He sold 'dogs before, but now there's more potential for antics and actually selling things. He could probably have a trade menu similar to this: -'dog (water sausage on a bun. Explodes into cotton puffs when eaten. Gag item.) -Hot Dog (An actual hot dog. Craftable with a steak over a bread.) -Decorated Hot Dog (A very nice hot dog decorated with all sorts of toppings. Can be made with a hot dog, yellow dye, melon seeds, beetroot soup, and a sea pickle. In reference to a Chicago Style Hot Dog with Yellow Mustard, Poppy Seeds, Tomato, Pickle, and Onion.) -Sans Mask (A paper mask that fits in the head slot. In reference to that time Toriel Plushes got the Sans Makeover, which was just a paper mask) Additionally, since Sans has many tricks up his sleeves, and a nice hoodie, why not include the ability to trade specific items to him for a copy of his clothes? We got the hoodie, the shorts, and the slippers. And add in the goofy mask and you're a full sans cosplayer! He might even get a kick out of him by talking to him while wearing the set. No real idea if the set would have any benefits, since it's literally just some clothes, but hey. Style is eternal. Definitely think he'd enjoy things like Bottles of Healing and gold nuggets, but there's plenty of room for a fun 'offering' menu where you can get comments and snark for offering weird things to him, or crack a good joke or two about any skeleton items you pass by him. Anything goes. Lastly. There should absolutely be a fix on that theme song. Cut the rev up and use it as a sound effect on battle start, then post the rest of the song on a tighter loop by cutting out any ending and starting silence.
Idea: new potion, potion of karma. A potion recipie that requires bones. And can only be made as a splash potion. Requires regular water bottle. Gives a more serious potion effect that turns your hearts / health bar purple. The more xp a player has the more damage they take and the faster it happens, giving you less time to recover from a potion of karma.
Among the other undertale addons, THIS SHOWS THE PEAK OF BOSS FIGHT, I can't wait to see the full version of adding other characters and map based on actual game
also, sans last phase were he falls asleep, make it so you can't attack him sleeping unless you are crouching or he will wake up like in the og battle, make it so you can give him anything and he will give yoy (mostly) useless items or 16 snowballs
you should add, that you can't kill sans, and he can't kill you. I mean he can, but he wont. Like if you have low hp, then he stops atacking and let you free.
I'd say the animations work, you just need to change HIS left arm X position a bit, cuz currently it floats a bit off his body, more visible when he shrugs. Keep his walk cycle, in my opinion it fits him. The dodge and 'three strikes you're out' system is good, so keep that, although maybe make him pivot slightly when dodging. Like in the thumbnail and end scene where he naps, I don't know what causes it, but I assume it's likely caused by ignoring him, if so, make him seek out a wall or something, then rest there. Granted you said not ALL of it is finished, so all of these things I just recommended may be planned, aside from the small misplacement on his left arm, which is likely going to be fixed, and I will say that the funny bone man mod is coming together, both you, and your team, are doing good, and I'll love to see this progress further.

To get the Genocide Fight you would need to kill a lot of villagers (like 100 or so). They help you and all, and also aren't hostile mobs so yeah. He judges you from ur sins Also some reward dialogue if you clean a village from a raid would be cool yk? Also yoj could get some things from him giving hom ketchup lmao Idk...emeralds or some (better than vanilla) food
I have some suggestions that you can add hope you like them ---Dodging animations -Sans having a backwards dodge animation. -Sans could have a teleport effect and teleports somewhere else (but somewhere close to his original spot). -He gets hit but it was a bottle of ketchup and he could say something like "Aww I was saving that for later" and the ketchup bottle will be on the ground. I'll try add more ideas (because its fun).

This is incredibly cool! If you wanna be more painful (Since genocide mode is considered) When using a healing item it should count as your turn, since thats logical in Undertale. Though I have no idea how you made this so as far as I'm aware it could not be possible, if it is, it would be cool af. Probably do this for genocide since normal would just be annoying.

I suggest adding 3 new scales. 3 level scales. One scale is responsible for the overall level. The second scale is responsible for the level obtained for killing hostile mobs or animals (zombies, illagers, cows, etc.). The third scale will be responsible for killing peaceful and neutral mobs (villagers, golems) . And upon reaching level 19 on the third scale, Sans will attack without mercy. Moreover, the power of karma will be measured by the overall level. I suggest trying to make sure that for each general level, the power of karma increases by the same amount. And it is not entirely logical to use the usual scale of experience, because ordinary experience can be obtained for coal mining, trading, removing enchantments and repacking.
Holy moly, that’s awesome. I love the sans model and those attacks are sweet. I love the music and actually talking with sans too, not many mods/datapacks I’ve seen include that kind of story element. I’m usually a Java player, but I’ll def check this out. Fantastic work!
I like how it takes three attacks for the fight to start. It just doesn’t seem like sans to break his promise after one attack like I’ve seen some others do I also like it because as you mentioned, it means he doesn’t immediately attack if you accidentally fight. But he wouldn’t do KR, since that is called “Karmatic retribution” (I mean it’s never said in game but fans headcanon it as that and it makes sense since it gives sans even more of a reason to why he wouldn’t attack you until the end of the genocide route) and I would assume because it’s called that it does more damage if you’ve done something bad. So he just does a little bit of HP. So it’s as if you’re on the pacifist route and he does one damage too you, it also makes sense since you have 20 HP in minecraft. That’s something I would do, and from the looks of it he does KR, like I saw you walk into a bone and it did repeated damage and didn’t disappear, which would imply it does KR. Something I would improve is either make it so he doesn’t do KR and the bones disappear after you hit it and only do 1 HP (this would definitely fit since you have 20 HP In minecraft just like frisk has 20 HP in a pacifist route.) or make it so you’re on a geno/neutral route and make sure to make it kinda obvious, because based off the end dialogue you’re either in pacifist or neutral since he does try blast you at the end, but he lets you go and talks about Papyrus so he’s probably alive, unless he says that regardless of what you do. You mentioned at the end that everyone will be added. Like how though? Will it be like bosses for each of them and it can tell whether you killed them or what? I think that would probably be hard to do so is it just like you’re forced onto a pacifist/neutral route dialogue for everyone? Because in that case Sans wouldn’t do KR or he would do less depending on whether it’s pacifist or neutral. Also I think it would be cool if you also added in actual food from undertale, like maybe sea tea and it could give you speed 1 or legendary hero and it acts like a healing item and potion of strength. I like it. But there’s room for improvement, 7/10.
A few suggestions for other attack patterns: 1. Platforming attack patterns 2. Bones shooting out from the ground but at an angle facing towards you 3. Blue soul attack mode
It would be cool for a LVL system to be added. lvl 1 = pacifist lvl 8 = neutral lvl 19 = genocide and based on those levels monsters personalities change, either being friendly, timid or being on the offense. and based on each lvl monsters are either easy or hard, Sans for example, if you fought him being lvl 1 he'd take it as a spar, if you're lvl 10, and fought him, he'd try to convince you to stop giving you a chance, and lvl 20, meaning you killed everyone he'd say usual dialogue before giving you a bad time. same kinda goes for undyne as well
a good idea for the bone wall attack would be to place a circle around the walls *prob made of bones* to avoid you from just backing away from the attack, also pretty neat mod you and your team is working on!
I think it honestly better it was done now and not then, as back then everybody would ask for ultra omega error 1987 swapswap sans and tye creator could lose motivation, which i wouldn't blame the creator as i would too
If you add like Papyrus and you kill him, you should make it so that when you encounter Sans and try to hit him once, he'll start the battle instead of getting attacked 3 times.

Teleporting should be a thing he can do, but it shouldn't be his only method of dodging. It'd be cool to mix it up between the two.

Holy moly, that’s awesome. I love the sans model and those attacks are sweet. I love the music and actually talking with sans too, not many mods/datapacks I’ve seen include that kind of story element. I’m usually a Java player, but I’ll def check this out. Fantastic work!

This is looking really good, I love how fluid is sans animations
I like how it takes three attacks for the fight to start. It just doesn’t seem like sans to break his promise after one attack like I’ve seen some others do I also like it because as you mentioned, it means he doesn’t immediately attack if you accidentally fight.
But he wouldn’t do KR, since that is called “Karmatic retribution” (I mean it’s never said in game but fans headcanon it as that and it makes sense since it gives sans even more of a reason to why he wouldn’t attack you until the end of the genocide route) and I would assume because it’s called that it does more damage if you’ve done something bad. So he just does a little bit of HP. So it’s as if you’re on the pacifist route and he does one damage too you, it also makes sense since you have 20 HP in minecraft. That’s something I would do, and from the looks of it he does KR, like I saw you walk into a bone and it did repeated damage and didn’t disappear, which would imply it does KR. Something I would improve is either make it so he doesn’t do KR and the bones disappear after you hit it and only do 1 HP (this would definitely fit since you have 20 HP In minecraft just like frisk has 20 HP in a pacifist route.) or make it so you’re on a geno/neutral route and make sure to make it kinda obvious, because based off the end dialogue you’re either in pacifist or neutral since he does try blast you at the end, but he lets you go and talks about Papyrus so he’s probably alive, unless he says that regardless of what you do.
You mentioned at the end that everyone will be added. Like how though? Will it be like bosses for each of them and it can tell whether you killed them or what? I think that would probably be hard to do so is it just like you’re forced onto a pacifist/neutral route dialogue for everyone? Because in that case Sans wouldn’t do KR or he would do less depending on whether it’s pacifist or neutral.
Also I think it would be cool if you also added in actual food from undertale, like maybe sea tea and it could give you speed 1 or legendary hero and it acts like a healing item and potion of strength.
I like it. But there’s room for improvement, 7/10.

1. Platforming attack patterns
2. Bones shooting out from the ground but at an angle facing towards you
3. Blue soul attack mode

It would be cool for a LVL system to be added.
lvl 1 = pacifist
lvl 8 = neutral
lvl 19 = genocide
and based on those levels monsters personalities change, either being friendly, timid or being on the offense.
and based on each lvl monsters are either easy or hard, Sans for example, if you fought him being lvl 1 he'd take it as a spar, if you're lvl 10, and fought him, he'd try to convince you to stop giving you a chance, and lvl 20, meaning you killed everyone he'd say usual dialogue before giving you a bad time.
same kinda goes for undyne as well
An actual sans addon with DODGEABLE attacks which doesnt one shot you? Waiting for it!

a good idea for the bone wall attack would be to place a circle around the walls *prob made of bones* to avoid you from just backing away from the attack, also pretty neat mod you and your team is working on!

Hey i think a cool idea is if he only attacks you if you kill a amount of mobs not hostile/neutrals like 200 it could be more undertale acurate

I think it honestly better it was done now and not then, as back then everybody would ask for ultra omega error 1987 swapswap sans and tye creator could lose motivation, which i wouldn't blame the creator as i would too

If you add like Papyrus and you kill him, you should make it so that when you encounter Sans and try to hit him once, he'll start the battle instead of getting attacked 3 times.
