without watching, top 5 things to buy after a power rack and bar: reverse hyper, calf machine, functional trainer, fly wheel, sauna. Let's see how good I did !
I had a flashback to the intervention that my shoulder surgeon and physical therapist had for me when you pulled out that dip attachment. They asked that I give up dips forever and they promised that would be the only thing they asked me to give up. Awesome video as always brother!
Gluck, if it wasn’t for your constant talking with your hands I would have no idea what you’re saying. Your Italian fans are thankful, never apologize.
You won my heart by promoting a $150 curl bar as the expensive pick for a curl bar. I've got a crow bar and it's great for my once a week needs. I've got a pretty expensive home gym, but functionality with quality that does the job beats throwing stupid money at overkill products that limit your ability to get what you need for an overall workout.
I don't care how people spend their money but I thought it was my top pick and gave my reasons. We're probably all pretty good at spending in the home gym community
Keep it coming Gluck! Your videos continue to get better and your heading in the right direction! Love the comedy. Video idea here, I wanna see someone (YOU) set their PRs while eating one of the worlds hottest peppers!!!!!
As a fitness equipment repair technician I want to say thank you for not mentioning any curl bars or barbells with sleeves that bolt on I have to tighten the bolts at every gym I visit with one of those and not as important on a curl bar but on a standard size barbell I cannot State the importance enough of saying how obnoxious and cheap and unsafe it is. Beyond that they typically aren't that much cheaper.
Well those just suck and it's the same thing + most people don't own them one side is constantly loosening and they're a bit sketchy and not smooth let's not mention who doesn't want to drop a weight on their head which would never happen because everybody reads all the warning labels stuck all over their fitness equipment and adheres to a strict maintenance schedule everybody reads their owner's manuals and does perfect maintenance all the time just like with their car
@@daleeldridge7942 when you're right you're right! I use to have to tighten them at a commercial gym because idk wth the staff was doing but I liked my teeth so...
Thanks for taking the time to share your knowledge. The angles on the Rep Fitness curl bar look less acute than those on your Rogue. If so, I may be going with the latter like you, as I like the sharper bends.
“Playing with 3.5 in” lmfao. Thanks for having budget friendly options too. I’m also not crazy about wanting to spend hundreds of dollars on just handles or a curl bar.
Love the video! Probably worth mentioning that you would need 4x every Olympic weight, including fractionals for the Olympic dumbbells to be any use. For me there isn't enough benefit so I barely use mine and stick with standard adjustables. Much cheaper and just as beneficial.
Depends on Space and Budget... and if you have a wife or girl friend will tolerate your stuff taking space.... Landmine are great, I did bike and rower bc the woman likes it too... dumbells, kettlebells, sandbags and Indian clubs can tuck away nice in case you need space for poker night or movie night...
I have a lot of old York barbell one inch hole plates so I purchased Pepin dumbbell handles to replace the old spin lock handles. These work well in my situation. For now…
I have a land mine and spotter arms and straps. Since I have IronMaster adjustable dumbbells and have their EZ curl bar, I think I am good there. IronMaster plates are more than enough for curl weight for me. The Olympic weights are for the larger muscle groups.
Griffin makes some good stuff. I'm lucky enough I don't have any real brand loyalty (and I like to try out other companies). I guess I'd I had loyalty I'd be pretty crappy at these reviews haha
I thought I had a pretty good set up with my four kettlebells, and my pull up and dip bar … after seeing those home gym videos I am feeling kind of shabby. Need to level up 😂
My buddy has one of their first SS bars and that run wasn't the best with how it holds up, especially how you'd expect it to. I think coop has said something similar as well but don't hold me to it
I finally gave up on the spin collar dumbbells, and mine are the old style with the spinning grips. I'm ordering the Rogue Urethane fixed dumbbells one or two pair a month until I get to the top weight that I can handle. I might keep the old school stuff just for single arm rows. That's really all they are good for, and I am sick of the spin collars coming loose.
Still watching: What’s wild I so far I have this all! I just don’t have the loaded dumbbells. Thinking about that since it may be cheaper than getting 95s and 100s in dumbbells? What do you think?
I use them for rows and other exercises if I need to go over 100lbs. If people don't have those they can be a cheap alternative to fixed dumbbells and even adjustable.
I'll be honest I thought you were being a bit snarky. Hard to tell with comments. Loadable DBs are a love hate thing with gym people. Some people are very passionate about things. Get outta here with that! Don't be telling people they can use things I don't link to! You trying to bankrupt us! Yeah my buddy uses them and they work I just personally dislike them because I don't want (or have) a set of 1" plates and the handles really dig in
