How to Back Black Through Giving Circles (continued!)

Last year Grapevine joined the Back Black Movement, an initiative to bring awareness to the disparities facing Black-led nonprofits and how we can collectively work to address these gaps. To support this movement, we’re hosting a conversation on Tuesday, August 27th, for How to Back Black Through Giving Circles. This conversation will build on the deeply personal and thoughtful conversation we hosted on August 15, 2023.
During this panel discussion:
You’ll meet Black-led nonprofits who were Giving Circle grantees and hear first-hand how this funding and community support impacted their organization
You’ll hear directly from Giving Circle leaders on how they approach selecting and supporting their nonprofit grantees, including their recommendations for best practices
You’ll learn about gaps in the funding ecosystem and how Giving Circles can play a critical role in addressing these funding disparities for not only Black-led organizations, but others similarly underfunded
