A great - and underrated -album. His voice has matured and got stronger over the years - personally I think his best vocal performance ever is on the song 'It's Not Your Birthday Anymore' from this same album.. Other recommended tracks from this one would be 'Mama Lay Softly on the Riverbed' and 'I'm OK By Myself' (a reference to the Smiths maybe - who knows? )
Years of Refusal was the first Moz album whose release I was expecting and anticipating, and it’s the one I listened to the most. That one song was actually on his Greatest Hits before along with That’s How People Grow Up, which is a much better song in my opinion. Both got added to Refusal.
Love this song, Morrissey at his sarcastic best, "you're going to miss me when I'm gone." Great reaction~
He's taking the piss out of the press
Just found your channel. Excellent selection. And that swagger.. probably channeling the ghost of Elvis. Morrissey really really loves The King.
Great video, man! You make Friday the best day of the week!
