Thank you for revealing this truth: The Soviet Union was a malevolent force in the world that returned slavery and colonialism to Europe. It is worth noting that they were also one of the largest--and certainly growing--European colonialist nation of the 20th Century. 14 Soviet colonies, plus what they were able to steal after WWII (iron curtain). Imagine: it only ended in 1991. Good Riddance!

      Romans 6:23
For the wages of sin is death, but the free gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord.
      Come to Jesus Christ today
Jesus Christ is only way to heaven
Repent and follow him today seek his heart Jesus Christ can fill the emptiness he can fill the void
Heaven and hell is real cone to the loving savior today
Today is the day of salvation tomorrow might be to late come to the loving savior today
      John 3:16-21
16 For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life. 17 For God sent not his Son into the world to condemn the world; but that the world through him might be saved. 18 He that believeth on him is not condemned: but he that believeth not is condemned already, because he hath not believed in the name of the only begotten Son of God. 19 And this is the condemnation, that light is come into the world, and men loved darkness rather than light, because their deeds were evil. 20 For every one that doeth evil hateth the light, neither cometh to the light, lest his deeds should be reproved. 21 But he that doeth truth cometh to the light, that his deeds may be made manifest, that they are wrought in God.
      Mark 1.15
15 And saying, The time is fulfilled, and the kingdom of God is at hand: repent ye, and believe the gospel.
      2 Peter 3:9
The Lord is not slack concerning his promise, as some men count slackness; but is longsuffering to us-ward, not willing that any should perish, but that all should come to repentance.
      Hebrews 11:6

All of this was done under the credo and heading of Leninism. The groundwork for all of these atrocities was lead by Lenin ON A MARXIST BASIS. The permissibility of torture from a marxist perspective was openly debated in the news papers lead by the GPU(NKVD, KGB) and the generalized opinion was positive. Rations were handed out in Gulag Camps on a COMMUNIST basis. "He who does not work does not eat."
So was it "real communism" ? Yes. It was the purest form of communism ever distilled on Earth.
That's why neo-communists and marxists of today's era try and have tried since the late 80s to distance themselves from the Soviet yolk.

With this, of course, comes the changes in education. For someone who didn't live under a dictatorship might be harder to understand but for those who did live (like me, in Eastern Europe), things are very clear. There were plenty of attempts, most notably by the Germans, but even a few from within the USSR. There were likely many more planned coups and assassinations that were thwarted before they were even attempted thanks to the culture of fear in the USSR at the time. The regime, through the use of propaganda and fear, even convinced many family members to turn each other in to the KGB for simply expressing opinions not in line with communist doctrine. So it's not hard to see how even the slightest perception of someone remotely close to Stalin contemplating an assassination would be found out, and that person would be killed.
Not to mention, nearly all, if not all, of the USSR politburo didn't want him gone, and would happily sacrifice their life for his if given the chance. It's honestly impossible for modern people, especially modern westerners, to understand the mindset of someone in the USSR. It's easy for us to look back with hindsight and say "the person who assassinated Stalin/Hitler/Polpot/Mussolini would have been a hero! Why didn't anyone do it?" When in reality, most of us would have, at best, been silent in our opposition to the atrocities of these men. More likely than not, most of us would have probably been indifferent or even supportive of them.

On the basis that it's statistically highly improbable that the speakers you were listen via had even the remotest ability to both instantly & permanently destroy your auditory nerves or completely blow out the diaphragm's in both your ear canals simultaneously I'll reassure that you weren't deafened & everythings just fine. You can even do things like go to sleep tonight without worrying that if the fire alarm goes off you won't be able to hear it so you best not roll over in your sleep so the strobe alert has a half chance of waking you before you burn to death - which I imagine must be a nice feeling.

My father was anong the people from Poland who was spent time in a Gulag, in his case in the Komi SSR until July 1941 when the 3rd Reich invaded the USSR. He was then evacuated to Soviet Asia where he aided the war effort and survived the war. Life under Stalin was better than death under Hitler.

There was a book out in the 90’s, by a Tolstoy about Stalin and his buddies. He had a lot of details that I hadn’t in any of the other books I have read on the subject. One of those told of the Russian counterattack from Stalingrad where the front line of the ground attack was lead by political prisoners. And from his description they were simply walking mine detectors. And many were happy to cooperate with their captors and intentionally find one to end their suffering. Bizarro world.

While it is true the woke termites have tried their very best to bring down the country...they have failed. Unlike your other great examples the people have outright rejected the woke in mass. Let me give you an example- Every company, news agency, product, film, production house, TV show, comics industry that pushes woke nonsense has failed.
What I mean is unlike Germany or Russia the extremism has failed to take hold here. Yes, the mass media has done everything they can to convince us the country is overrun with these cultural vampires but it's not, not even close. Oh but it gets even better. There are 12 cities (this is out of 19,495) in the US that have chosen to give the woke scum power over the people. Every last city they control is collapsing. Meanwhile (forget cities) states that have chosen to reject the woke pigs are thriving. My state of Florida, has pushed every last woke son of a b*tch out of office. We are what is called a Super-majority and our state is booming. Everyone is working, we do not have rioting, our police force is strong, and We The People are well armed and aren't going to put up with their leftist nonsense. Our government here in Florida is leading the way for other states and many have joined us in rejecting the woke. We're not the only Super-majority that kicked every last woke pig out of office. What really broke the leftists back was Elon Musk's purchase of Twitter. You see, he exposed them for the liars they are. They make up less than 2% of the country and now we know it...game over woke scum.
Addendum- As I type this, big companies that have pushed woke propaganda are dropping like flies or are running scared. Disney for example is fighting for their lives and it's not looking good (I hope they burn). For a very funny story...look up M&Ms pulls woke packaging off the shelves and gets roasted by A&W Rootbeer. Their new woke campaign lasted for two weeks before the backlash forced them to shut it down. The woke have lost so succinctly it's not even up for debate. Which is great because screw extremism.

Many of the Kulaks (Ukrainian christian peasant class turned farm land owners) starved to death in a planned famine by the soviet state. It’s estimated that around 7 million Ukrainians were starved to death as their food source was ceased to be taken to the cities. We there had no passports there and were very limited in our ability to leave, change job or do anything except what is told to. And without passport there was no ability to move freely or to vote. By Soviet officials there were 37% of people in Kolkhoz's in 1970s and almost all of them had no passports. Only in 1981 they finally got full rights and ability to change place of living.
