So much to criticise here (about the video, not the city).
Opening credits - Marseille is spelled with an S not a C.
In such a short video is it really necessary to show the exact same scenes twice? The woman with the dog by the fountain, the three little girls who talk to the camera, the boy whose ball almost goes under a scooter’s wheel, the young man with arms up praising Marseille.
Almost entirely shopping streets, none of the beautiful sights in Marseille, and it’s not until the end that you get a vague idea that it might be on the Mediterranean coast.

Is it a safe place?
No. Crime and espacially delinquency is a Real issue.
While the weather is nice and the city has some Real potential it also has major drawbacks like drug dealers but also driving in Marseille is awful. Many areas are dirty. Lots of ghettos.
In short, Downtown is Amazing. The city along the coast is breathtaking and the place is unique but corrupt politics and people ruined the whole thing
