Bought the AF1 Craft around a year ago...I'm telling you, that extra $30 is worth it. I've been wearing them daily for a year and the leather is still buttery smooth.
AF1 has always been popular. Just not when I grew up back in the 90’s and early to mid 2000’s. Those and the Superstars/Stan Smith from Adidas are classics. But 2020/2021 AJ1 and dunks are all the rage. It has a lot to do with getting your proper size, but yes the AF1 often needs to be broken in. People complain about the cheap plasticky feel of the upper, but as you mentioned, easier to clean, and more durable. You wouldn’t buy these for comfort anyway. But depends on your preference. I don’t like super cushioned comfortable shoes. Hurt my feet. I prefer a harder sole. Even the dunks that doesn’t have the Air technology is more comfortable to me than the AF1’s.

The leather on the Craft is softer, but in terms of looks, yeah that's up to you since you can barely see any difference between 2 triple white AF1s unless you're going up close on details

If you take care of them they will last and keep the nice leather look and even if you don’t they should still last you a good amount of time. I wear them every day.

That was the whole reason I spoke about durability. I'm sorry I didn't specifically say "creasing," but the points I made hold true to the whole creasing issue. @@davii_ms I messaged Pete since he's on vacation right now and he responded... "IMO the upper will probably be softer but they don’t even look like AF1s because they aren’t leather. And I imagine they would be really difficult to keep clean, but you could probably run them through a washing machine since there is no leather. I can’t say they are worth the extra money. IMO they should be cheaper but what you’re paying for with these is new materials/design. Because Nike can’t make these in the same factory line as a regular pair of AF1s, you have to pay a premium."
No, not really. If you've noticed women wearing AF1s that look slightly different, that's because there are a lot of unique AF1 models that are women-exclusive, like the sage, fontanka, pixel, etc.
Back in the Golden era of hip hop (90s till 2000s) the lows where for women and mids and highs where for men. Not really but they literally would only come out low for women but low mid and high for everyone else. Now they seem to make only lows.

Off*
Let me update this for Black Friday. Not only is it still 14% off but you can stack the 20% off BF discount with it 😮
@@plusnew8306 where can you get the crafts?
Can you compare the standard air force 1 with the new air force 1 Crater Fly Knit pls?
We actually don't have the standard AF1's anymore because Pete decided to keep the Crafts instead.
@@slickdeals no problem man, I just wanted to know if the new AF 1 with the fly knit are worth the 20€ extra, theres really not many reviews online so ya, anyway thank u for the answer, keep up the good work💪🏻
@@davii_ms I messaged Pete since he's on vacation right now and he responded...
@@slickdeals Thank u so much! gotta search a little more, maybe try to find them in store to give it a test, anyway thank u for the suport!
I wear the Air Force ones of course the Air Force ones
Bro you’re creasing the heck out of those 😩
Our crease guards didn't arrive until a few days after we shot this :/
So why SNKRS selling them 140 dollars fresh
Im 63 n nothen is better than af1 07 . at my age no pain no gain. Statenisland ny shop around 75 to 100. I always buy 2 at 180 including TAX
Checks over stripes. That’s what I like
For sneakerheads I'd prefer the dunk lows tbh
Is there a difference between the air force 1 '07 men and women?
No, not really. If you've noticed women wearing AF1s that look slightly different, that's because there are a lot of unique AF1 models that are women-exclusive, like the sage, fontanka, pixel, etc.
Smart to put this as an ad
Very helpful !!! ❤🙏
Why does the air force 1'07 cost 90$
But in French it costs 109€ wich is a lot moree than 90 dollars
Could be anything really - import fees, value of the euro, etc. That stinks though :/
This man creased the hell out them shoes lol
:hide:
Pete did buy some crease guards after we shot this episode but we didn't have time to order any before the shoot. Sorry haha.
I heard they run half size bigger. Is that true??
Yes it is
I just bought new AF 1 07 all white for 160USD in Korea last week….. :(
I like the white af1s with a black logo
Are the men and women versions the same for af1 07? Is there any differences at all?
No, there's no difference as long as they are the 07's (except for sizing differences between men's and women's shoes).
Back in the Golden era of hip hop (90s till 2000s) the lows where for women and mids and highs where for men. Not really but they literally would only come out low for women but low mid and high for everyone else. Now they seem to make only lows.
After buying the crafts, I'd only buy the 07's to cut grass in and look fly doing it lol
Air Force ones hold a lot more wait culturally wise compared to any other shoe
Do you know if these model it's going to be always on store or it´s limited or sth like that. Srry for bad english, greetings from Peru.
No se terminan tan rápido, pero una vez que se acaba ese modelo, ya no hay más. Tienes que esperar a que lancen otro. Saludos.
I have a pair of crafts and the normal ones. The crafts are so much more comfortable.
which one is more durable? which one wrinkled more?
i have the same question
Como y donde los puedo adquirir???
Bruh I already ordered my 1’07s today
Wait waittttt at 6:13 did he just c-crease the sh-shoes. I’m devastated
Sorry, the crease guards didn't arrive until a couple days after we shot this...
What kind of leather they use on the Craft AF1s?
All I could find was "Full-Grain Leather and Suede". Sorry that's not too helpful.
@@slickdeals sounds good to me! Thank you
Black and red are the best ones but white go hard the adidas I use to skate
I have the crafts like the tumbled leather
Thank You
Also the REAL AR1 are the 117 not the 111.
