Nah white uptowns were always cheap back then. When I got older I seen them go up in price. $80 and $90 was the most I seen them before I stop looking for it and looking at better shoes.

Bought my first pair almost a year ago and I usually wear them when I know I’m going to do alot of walking like going to the mall or run errands. It’s rare when I wear them, but they’re comfortable! I work at a restaurant with heavy duty boots on my feet and to finally wear them AF1s is heaven on my feet!

I’ve had a countless memories as I wore them on parties, dates, played ball in them, I did almost everything you could think of. I also wanted to say that not everyone has the money to buy a new pair of sneakers every time they get beat up and there’s also people who have only one pair of sneakers/shoes and they have to wear them all the time.
Yep. Also shoe trees will keep em crispy. I got an all black pair that I put shoe trees in that I wear almost every day and they look brand new because of cedar shoe trees.

The main rule is just be comfortable In what your wearing. If your walking around in your forces, vans, chucks, whatever & your feeling good, confident, that shits gonna show. If your uncomfortable & feeling off because of what your wearing, that’s also gonna show as well. Just do what feels right to you.

Honestly, the biggest mistake with wearing AF1's and the only mistake that's important IMO, is that you're buying them too big! Af1's have good leather and they are bulky, which means, they are going to stretch! I used to buy 10.5 but started buying a half size down and now they fit perfectly and they don't crease as much. As far as my All-white AF1, I buy a full size down now so 9.5.

The key to AF1s is to wear your damn sneakers. Especially the crispy whites. They look best in 2 states Fresh outta the factory, never worn Medium wear, your regular shoes.
Can't remember the last time I tied either of my lows, I always just slip them on. I have two pairs of lows, and theyre both pure beaters. One pair black and white w gum-soles - my first ever pair but they got holes and shit now. The second pair is some army green gum-sole customs that I specifically designed as beaters, and they go hard with almost any outfit. I wear them to work, in the snow, in the rain and the weathering actually compliments the army colourway. They look like Gore-tex on a budget, plus my custom tag. Those are my beaters, but I do have the all-white high tops too, and they're ONLY for special occasions, dates and/or beautiful weather, usually worn with True Religions or Get Me Flys. The white high-tops I do my utmost to keep as clean crispy as possible, which means they stay in the closet on the rack until the time comes.

Can't remember the last time I tied either of my lows, I always just slip them on. I have two pairs of lows, and theyre both pure beaters.
One pair black and white w gum-soles - my first ever pair but they got holes and shit now. The second pair is some army green gum-sole customs that I specifically designed as beaters, and they go hard with almost any outfit.
I wear them to work, in the snow, in the rain and the weathering actually compliments the army colourway. They look like Gore-tex on a budget, plus my custom tag.
Those are my beaters, but I do have the all-white high tops too, and they're ONLY for special occasions, dates and/or beautiful weather, usually worn with True Religions or Get Me Flys.
The white high-tops I do my utmost to keep as clean crispy as possible, which means they stay in the closet on the rack until the time comes.
