can you drive a boat with the trailer still attached yes you can we strapped the boat to the trailer to find out if it floats. Were heading to a island in a few days time and camping for 10 nights the boats to big to fit on the barge with the car so were sea trialing driving the boat with the trailer still attached to see if we will be able to get it to the island or not.

its much cheaper for us Canadians to buy a boat in America and it's free to bring one across the border, but it costs a couple thousand dollars to import the trailer it is on, so people just buy the boat in the USA drive it to the closest boat launch near the border launch the boat with the trailer attached and sail it into Canada and pick it up on the other side.
