enjoy a unique and fascinating glimpse into the serene undersea world. Once the Spirit of Pennekamp reaches the reef, you will get a window into this fascinating underwater world. We also got a view of coral formations, shipwrecks, and all kinds of marine life. But a word of advise; if you have a weak stomach then you may want to take a Dramamine tablet or two which is a over-the-counter drug used to treat motion sickness and nausea. John Pennekamp State Park offers Snorkeling, Scuba, and Glass bottom boat tours. The tours leave three times a day, and last about two and a half hours. We've been here! We took the reef snorkel instead of the glass bottom boat ride - other family members did the glass bottom boat and also got seasick (one was in formerly in the Navy). The park is awesome!
Even though I'm not much of a swimmer I think next time I'm gonna try the snorkeling tour.

My husband and I went on a deep ocean fishing trip in Alabama 2015 and I was sick the whole time throwing up. There were about 3 others throwing up as well. As soon as we got back to dry ground I felt better. 💖
Once we got out around the coral reef the water was pretty choppy but no one threw up. It was a great experience.

I have been a few cruises, so yes, the ocean is so pretty & blue. Tell Ms Janet for seasickness she can try green apples eating while on the boats that size. I normally don't get seasick but sometimes going from a large cruise ship to those small tender boats & all that "bobbing" in the water I get a headache.
Nice show! I feel for Janet. There is more than 1 fast catamaran out there nicknamed the "Vomit Comet" It must be nice to kick back & enjoy S. Florida knowing you have your future home settled.

I ask because when I come back to Florida next summer, my girlfriend & I want to take a day cruise to the Bahamas but she gets sea sick, so we're trying to find the best method to help her way in advance.
