@@oasisswimming Awwwwh! That seems a little dire to be worshiping 40 year old memories and not so keen on the current reality. I am sure there is simple things you could do to start seeing the now as pretty awesome just like your memories. Unless, I haven't understood you correctly?
@@LeoKovzalin you have misunderstood. I was a huge fan! have moved on, music appreciation is wide and varied, some old, some new. I have a fond memory of all Aussie Rockers as I love Guitar Bands...

I have been reading Jaron Laniers book Ten Arguments for deleting your social media accounts right now which relates to The Documentary on Netflix called “The Social Dilemma. I keep my utube as I like seeing music video clips from the 70s and 80s and remembering the good old days and how different life was for young people back then. Life is still good now being in my 50s . One point in the book does point out negativity, comparisons and nastiness that social media accounts bring out in people . It’s an interesting read .

There's temporary relief from our miserable lives when we idolize the past and coax ourselves into believing it was better than what it was but it's ultimately a dead end street. Australia is both better and worse now.
Was better then in a lot of ways . Was young , good looking . Life was exciting and fun . Better than the social media and Instagram world of today . You could whistle at that long blonde 👱♀️ hair babe walking down the street . Now you look at Botox lips, bums and shaved twats in your mobile phone but your not allowed to wolf whistle and you don’t have your 1970 car to drive round in either and blast your car horn at the blonde blonde babes . No excitement anymore

If they ever invent time travel and you. Get to see how life really was back in the 70s and 80s you will think to yourself that you really were born in the wrong century.
