Topic 31: AC Load Lines

The AC load line is used to determine the output voltage limits, or output voltage compliance of an amplifier. In this video we present the equations that define the AC load line for common emitter amplifiers with and without emitter bypassing.

EXCELLENT LECTURE!WHEN I WAS IN COLLEGE MANY YEARS A GO, WE DID NOT HAVE FOR SOME REASON THE AC LOADLINE.

@@davidluther3955 AC load lines aren’t an absolute necessity and lots of people think they are overkill but I like them. They really make it easy to internalize the limitations of the amplifier.

I THINK IT IS A GOOD IDEA BECAUSE IT GIVES YOU A VISUAL PICTURE OF HOW IT WORKS.
