  • 2493 only has one sister truck-2492. 2492 and 2493 are the only two ex-Allied Waste Autoreaches that are CNG. That's because they were transferred from I believe Long Beach. These two trucks were also 1 of 3 side loaders in the Fremont Fleet that had a total re-branding and not just the sticker over the Allied Waste Logo. The other truck was 2431, the sister truck to 29, 30, 32, 33, and 83. I'm sure this truck, along with 2492 will be around for a little while longer because it's CNG. After 45, 47, 92, and 93 are decommissioned, though, it'll be all Republic from there. No trace of Allied Waste ever even being there.
I have some exciting videos that I think you're gonna want to see in the next couple of weeks. I was able to find a bulky pickup being done, TWO trash can deliveries, and some POV footage of none other than 2432! The Truck that West Coast Refuse Trucks filmed in 2011 and again in 2014. So make sure you stick around for that! Anyway, that's for this week. Thank you for watching this video and thanks to the driver for letting me record, enjoy!

Nice! We should film together sometime. That'll be Intersting. Man Long Beach Autoreach's are unique. Dislike the CNG tanks on top of the truck though. Makes them look ugly lol. Yesterday was strange. Since we no longer have 30 as our Greenwaste truck. Yesterday we had 2503 roll through on my side of the street, then 2453 on the opposite side. Both 520 CNG Autoreach's. It was after 5PM too. Could it be these newer trucks are slower than the old ones? If so Fremont has made a big mistake In choosing the newer Autoreach's. I tried to film a bulk pickup last month but they were gone by 8 before I got up.

That would be cool to film together! However, I'm kinda retired from recording garbage trucks. I'm gonna like announce it in my next couple videos so all the details will be there. That is super weird that you had 2 different trucks on one street. Maybe 03 needed help with his route so he called 53. It's weird, though 03 is a recycling route, meant to replace 2490! Yep, the new Autoreaches are in fact much slower than the older ones. The only reason I was able to film 2460 one time was because the 2493 was down so he was driving 2460. Also yeah those bulky pickup drivers are early birds!

@@fremontgarbagetrucks Damn man. I'm going to miss your vids bro. You do such a great job at finding and filming trucks!. I might slow down my channel too at some point. Was already thinking that if no more older Autoreach's show up. These newer trucks are "eh". The 520 is cool n all but it sounds way better with a diesel engine. Not these ISX12N CNG Engines. They "wrrrr" too much and it sounds weird lol.
Yeah and you know what? Thursday's drag on longer due to the new yardwaste truck coming by between 4:45//5:30. So now my area went from 9/10 AM - the latest 5:30. It used to be 9/10 AM - 3.

@@dabking94.19 Thank you so much! Don't worry, though I still have enough videos to last about a year or two! That is quite possible that the old Autoreaches become super scarce. As of right now, there are 17 that are still in commission. I'm not sure about 36, 66, and 79. Haven't seen those ones in a bit. Supposedly, 2479 is the next one to be
ex-nayed. But who knows I don't think they'd decommission 17 friggin trucks from now to 2024. If they did, that would mean they'd have to do 4 trucks a month. On the other hand, maybe they have to because it's in the their contract with the city, which they already got an extension on. I don't know. Personally, I think they'll last into next year and after 79 gets decommissioned, Republic will kinda chill for a little bit.
Republic I think signed a contract with the city in 2021 saying that by 2022, all the diesel trucks would be gone. However, they got an extension probably at the end of last year, with the promise that Republic wouldn't use the extension to expand the lifespan of the trucks. So if something happens like a crusher gets jammed, instead paying $8,000 dollars to replace a part on a truck that'll only be around for another year or two, they'd rather just replace the whole truck.
Dammnn that is not good! I mean it is for us lol, but 5:30 is late!
